Ok guys, we have been very lucky to discuss this, please lets not give anyone anything to complain about, Mhq have been more than accomodating.

Please don't feel sorry for me. My DD died over 20 years ago and still I have two lovely adult DDs a fantastic DH and a wonderful life. I have long since accepted what happened and put it to bed.

whitecontainerbluelid · 26/07/2017 17:20

Says she can't be in the same room as the judge, leaves saying "I hope you're happy with yourself"

How terribly terribly sad.

SocksBoatsAndQats · 26/07/2017 17:20

That poor family, they'll be haunted by this. I really hope they find some good quality counselling and support somewhere.

TheNightmanCometh · 26/07/2017 17:20

I think we can guess from Connie's reaction what's about to happen.

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 26/07/2017 17:20

Awful for her yes. But you can't go round shouting at judges

This should have been dealt with weeks ago

teainbed · 26/07/2017 17:20

Poor Connie. This has been brewing though. Eventually the judge was going to have to make his decision.

user1498911589 · 26/07/2017 17:20

Poor Connie :-(

FastAbsorbingCake · 26/07/2017 17:20

I'm hoping that the judge has ruled. It's now got to the point that these delays are as cruel to C&C as it is to Charlie.

Sirzy · 26/07/2017 17:20

I presume that means the judge hasn't given in to her demands then. As worth as I feel for her I am pleased f that's the case

SomeDyke · 26/07/2017 17:20

"Judge makes an order that if parents and Gosh can't agree by 12noon tomorrow , Charlie will be transported to a hospice."

That's it -- times/dates presumably private.

I feel so sorry for the judge.

It's a horrid situation all round and there was never going to be a calm ending to it
I'm wondering if by being so accommodating he might have not made matter worse for the parents.

Emotionally they are clearly utterly not ready.

SomeDyke · 26/07/2017 17:21

Judge: name of hospice will remain private. The time at which he will go will remain private. Anyone who publishes date and place breaks law

Judge: parents accept that GOSH and hospice are the only options.

This is all so horrible. It's almost as if C&C have become addicted to the 'fight' and have lost all sense of reality, poor, poor people .

I think JF is making the right decision. That is his job and he is doing it with Charlie in mind. Still feel for Connie though.

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 17:23

So, 12pm tomorow and if not agreed they have 12 hours to say goodbye to their son, 12 bloody hours, after all the time they could have spent with him, I think to be honest the judge has made the right decision.

TheFairyCaravan · 26/07/2017 17:23

oakleaffy · 26/07/2017 17:23

Hopefully name of hospice will remain watertight.

smilingmind · 26/07/2017 17:23

So presumably no more court cases. Any agreement has to be made between C&C and GOSH.

Chattymummyhere · 26/07/2017 17:23

At least there is an end in sight for poor little Charlie now. Yes his parents will rightly be deverstated at loosing him but living in limbo is not right for anyone.

CremeFresh · 26/07/2017 17:23

How on earth will they keep the name of the hospice private. Won't the press follow them ? Or would they be breaking the law ?

SocksBoatsAndQats · 26/07/2017 17:23

They're fought so hard for so long, I don't feel they ever really took in the reality of his illness, now this. They've been swept away in something that they feel they had no choice in. They're just utterly desperate.
