Ok guys, we have been very lucky to discuss this, please lets not give anyone anything to complain about, Mhq have been more than accomodating.

I think it's clear now they are desperately trying to hold on until his birthday, which I can sort of understand I suppose, but it's in nobody's interests, especially Charlie's. I think they have been driven quite mad by all of this. Poor family. I think the judge needs to rule now.

Laiste · 26/07/2017 16:39

If we get to his birthday - then what? ON the day? One the day after? When is a good time? Where is a good place?

AcrossthePond55 · 26/07/2017 16:39

Well, I certainly agree with the date and time of transfer being kept private. It'll be a media circus and a CA 'event' otherwise.

totallyliterally · 26/07/2017 16:39

How can the parents lawyer allow that to happen with the found doctor?!?

They told the judge he was a specialist I thought and held the court up for 2 hours. And he is a GP with no experience of this situation. I'm stunned that their lawyers allowed this and the judge isn't fuming

StealthPolarBear, I agree where does it stop? poor Charlie and then the parents for each day this drags on, they need to start getting some closure.

Sirzy · 26/07/2017 16:39

So that delay was waiting for a GP? What a farce Angry

SargeantAngua · 26/07/2017 16:39

Did a tweet earlier say they wanted to take him to a hospice then home or did I misunderstand?

gunting · 26/07/2017 16:39

The expert turned out to be a gp with no intensive care experience!? What on earth?!

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 26/07/2017 16:39

"Dr the family found was a private GP with no experience of intensive care"

What a surprise

GinSoakedTwitchyPony · 26/07/2017 16:39

The expert is/was a GP?!

Butterymuffin · 26/07/2017 16:39

Connie is simply blinded here by her own pain. Judge has to make a decision for Charlie's sake and for hers. I feel for her hugely but this is just a spiral of distress.

Fancythat69 · 26/07/2017 16:40

@SadGuru Shock

oakleaffy · 26/07/2017 16:40

Tinsel..the line in the sand keeps being moved back..this is just so hard to witness. [bites tongue hard]

cjt110 · 26/07/2017 16:40

So the expert turned up and wasn't qualified? Therefore the proposal wasnt sufficient?

@JoshuaRozenberg

Armstrong: publication of some of the order should be deferred.

@JoshuaRozenberg
4s
Judge: media entitled to know what order I’m prepared to make today. It has appearance of justice behind closed doors.

That GP should be up on some type of charges! How cruel to misrepresent yourself so terribly.

Judge Justice Francis says will give the parents of #CharlieGard until 12 noon tomorrow to try to reach agreement with hospital for

cjt110 · 26/07/2017 16:40

HJF is going to order today....

StealthPolarBear · 26/07/2017 16:41

Who else can they drag in

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 16:41

Maryz, perhaps when he is truly dying?? I can understand that, they must know he has only so long to live, and perhaps without machinery he can just be their baby for a few days?

TinselTwins · 26/07/2017 16:41

I've lost all respect for the judge
Yup
Future proofing! I think he's future proofing!
He seems to be thinking about the longevity of his judgements, not the urgency from Charlie's POV

I agree cocoaleaves that the judge is also being cruel to Connie! she has made a commitment to charlie to "fight" , it's all that she can do for him, she will not stop it has to be someone elses decision!

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 26/07/2017 16:41

Oh heavens, a GP with no hospice or support team? I understand the family are desperate - who wouldn't be - but this prolonging the inevitable is not kind to anyone. Not even C&C, although it'll be a while before they can see that.

cjt110 · 26/07/2017 16:41

@AcrossthePond55 So did Dr Hirano
