If anyone wants to post, perhaps we could consider what implications today's case might have for others in future ... ?

I feel so sorry for JF now.

Writerwannabe83 · 25/07/2017 14:46

because parents wanted several days with Charlie at home on ventilator.

Oh God - I'm just gob smacked.

Venusflytwat · 25/07/2017 14:46

resourced

LovelyBath77 · 25/07/2017 14:46

Do they have children's hospices? Might be an option, hospices do care at home? Not sure to that extent though.

Wafflenose · 25/07/2017 14:47

This is all about the parents. What benefit would there be to Charlie? I bet the parents will be back in court wanting "a few more days" after this few more days... it's his birthday in about 10 days, isn't it?

angelnix · 25/07/2017 14:47

I feel awful for the judge, he's having to set a time frame in which Charlie must die

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 25/07/2017 14:48

It's certainly not a job I'd want to do TheFairy. All he can do is stay focused on what is in Charlie's best interests.

LovelyBath77 · 25/07/2017 14:48

Ah sorry-

GOSH has taken enormous care to find hospice willing to take Charlie. Hospices can't provide medical care of the sort Charlie needs

CaveMum · 25/07/2017 14:48

And there's another new "expert".

GabsAlot · 25/07/2017 14:48

thy cant fin a hposice to tak him to lovely

oakleaffy · 25/07/2017 14:48

Mr Justice Francis..do what is best for Charlie..please.
MJF has bent over backwards to be helpful and kid-glovily sensitive to parent's needs.

MissHavishamsleftdaffodil · 25/07/2017 14:48

There's a new expert.

Words fail.

MMXV · 25/07/2017 14:48

I am in tears.

The cruelty of it.

So cruel to Charlie, so cruel to other sick children. So cruel to the staff who look after them day in and day out.

angelnix · 25/07/2017 14:48

Which new expert would that be?

Ellie56 · 25/07/2017 14:48

This is unbelievable.

MaudGonneMad · 25/07/2017 14:48

If ever there were an advert for precisely why parental 'rights' must not trump the rights of a child, this is it.

Awful. Just awful.

Is there going to come a time when the 'but they're grieving parents' free pass stops, MNHQ, and we can actually start voicing opinions about their behaviour just as we would anyone else who has so relentlessly put themselves into the public eye?

This, I said this on the previous thread and got roundly attacked by someone. At what point does it stop?

Butterymuffin · 25/07/2017 14:49

New expert? On what exactly?

GabsAlot · 25/07/2017 14:49

who is this expert thy keep mentioning

samesorrystory · 25/07/2017 14:49

No hospice will take him Rozenburg said

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 25/07/2017 14:49

No more experts! Good heavens!

angelnix · 25/07/2017 14:49

@JoshuaRozenberg

Butler-Cole asks judge to set a deadline for discussions between the parties. Failure to agree would mean hospice only option.
