This is what Obama said yesterday:

At least Obama didn't say the UK should appoint Corbyn to be UK Ambassador to the USA - that's the rough equivalent to Trump tweeting that the government should appoint Farage as ambassador.

Will Trump's next demand be to appoint a Trump crony as Metropolitan Police Commissioner ?

Also, Trump is trying to use election to further his business interests in the UK:
e.g. he wants Scotland to remove windfarms because he hates seeing them from his golf course.
