What!!! no audience for tonioghts eviction??? Is this some kind of joke??? I cant believe bb have done that!! Why should Jade not have the experience of all the boos and hostility she rightly deserves from the public to!!

Now I am angry!!

I wonder how she and the other two witches will feel when they realise their lucrative deals will now be terminated?

I pray that Davina will interrogate Jade, but thats not going to happen is it???

Bananaknickers · 19/01/2007 13:04

I am glad there is no crowd tonight. She would having shouting, things thrown ect. I am not sticking up for jade either. I just think that sort of thing is no way to treat another human being. What sort of people does that make the crowd. Better behaved human beings than her? I don't think so

JoolsToo · 19/01/2007 13:06

I notice Channel 4 site are keeping the 'Jade & Shilpa' make up story at the top of the page even though other events have overtaken that story - nominations for example.

It wasn't so much a 'make up' anyway as a Jade been shown the error of her ways and thinking she'd better do something about it.

cuppa · 19/01/2007 13:07

would it say that the bb bosses are sure it will be Jade evicted then? Some people here reckon it'll be fixed, but not so if they've cancelled the audience.

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 19/01/2007 13:10

so if jade is evicted she will be whicked out of the house, there will be no boohing, no indication of what the public actually think of her.

And by the end of the month she will be on the cover of every trashy mag there is, and on every trashy chat show there is.

well well didn't we show jade then - not.

it's a bloody farce, and has achieved absolutely nothing.

clemsterdarcy · 19/01/2007 13:11

Unfortunately, Jade represents that group of 'angry UK'.

By that I mean people seem to be out there 'looking' for an argument these days. Whether that is through yobbish behaviour, road rage, etc etc etc, there's an all pervading culture taking over of 'I want, I am, I deserve' where shouting is believed to get you further than a smile.

The racist, bullying behaviour is abhorrant.

So to is Jade's inability to listen and her lack of manners. Shilpa was right when she said she needed to attend etiquette classes.

Manners transcend class.

Grace surpasses money.

Unfortunately, in this country, 'sleb' eclipses kindness.

southeastastra · 19/01/2007 13:12

have you seen the clip where they announce the nominations on the site? it's very funny

even if there's no baying crowd, jade will learn soon enough what the public think of her.

mummylin2495 · 19/01/2007 13:20

personally i think it would of been good for her to see how hurtful it is to be verbally atacked. she is going to be protected whilst channel 4 have stood by and let shilpa be mercilessly bullied.shame on you channel 4.

Bananaknickers · 19/01/2007 13:25

Channel four have to think of her saftey though , as they have said. I am sure she is not gonna get of lightly when she is out on the streets.

clemsterdarcy · 19/01/2007 13:30

Strange poetic justice that Big Brother has both made and broken Jade Goody.

Frankenstein's monster -- one might say she is as much a victim of Channel 4 and our sleb blood thirst as Shilpa. She has been elevated to a role for which she has neither the intelligence nor experience to manage.

Still, her 8 million will probably compensate for public humiliation and villification.

sleepyted · 19/01/2007 13:31

OMG how ridiculously skewed is the news page on the BB website?!!!

LieselVentouse · 19/01/2007 13:32

Lets face it what does everybody remmeber about Jade the first time she was in BB?

Bananaknickers · 19/01/2007 13:33

blow job, strip poker and wasn't she bullied in there ?

LieselVentouse · 19/01/2007 13:35

Erm no, who bullied her? I remember her beong horrid to Sophie cause she was pretty and spoke posh - anyone see a pattern here?

LucyJones · 19/01/2007 13:36

She was bullied in that no one stopped her from taking her clothes off when drunk and everyone laughed at her stupidity and encouraged her and then made fun of her behind her back

I watched a bit of it last night and caught the ' fuckerwallah, poppadum' bit - I was really disgusted. Of course this is blatantly racist.

What really infuriates me though is how Ch 4 is capitalising on the furore and cynically exploiting it as a way of increasing viewing figures. Clearly all publicity is good publicity then. I expect this is also how Jade, Jo and Danielle operate - better to be talked about than not, whatever is said, is clearly their M.O.

Re: feeling sorry for Jade. Why, exactly? she may have had a hard life but so have countless others. Get over it. The irony is that she may have had a difficult early life but for the last few years has had everything handed to her on a plate, despite the fact she has nothing of any substance or value to contribut to society, unless a perfume named after you is a meanigful legacy. Hard life my arse.

AitchTwoOh · 19/01/2007 13:37

and she bullied sophie the new girl, remember?

prettybird · 19/01/2007 13:37

Haven't read all of the thread and have already posted on the other thread, but I do think Jade et al are guilty of a form of "insitutional racism" (judging by the excerpts I have seen on the news and from what people have said here - I refuse go as far "supporting" Endemol by actually going and watching something that I never had any interest in).

It is the very fact that they doesn't realise that what they are saying could be construed as racist which is so . It's that sort of "unthinking" or "unconcious" racism which we need to challenge in our society - and which organisations such as the BNP use to feed the fear and prejudice that gives them their powerbase.

That is what is reflecting so badly on this country.

Having said that - I don't like the way the politicians have all jumped on the bandwagon and so fed the publicity for a flagging programme for their own benefit.

Bananaknickers · 19/01/2007 13:38

perhaps it was she was always fighting with someone then.Think they did take the piss out of her alot.

sockmonkey · 19/01/2007 13:38

I can't believe there is going to be no crowd. I can see what you are saying that she is a human being, but surely a few boos will help prepare her for the fact that she doesn't have much of a career left after her comments & actions in the house.
I am also wondering if Teddy will stand by Danielle when she comes out of the house. She might be pretty on the outside, but I don't know if he would want to be with her after this.

Bananaknickers · 19/01/2007 13:39

Oh yeah I remember she didn't like her. Another case of being Jealous

LucyJones · 19/01/2007 13:39

I am stunned there is no crowd too. Grace was hated too but still had to face the crowd

OP posts:
LieselVentouse · 19/01/2007 13:41

Ooooooooooooooooh Grace - the worst contestant ever -forgot about that old trout.

clemsterdarcy · 19/01/2007 13:41

East Anglia being abroad.

Enforcing ill-informed opinions on everyone irregardless of their interest or her accuracy.

And just an incessent wa wa wa wa wa penetrating noise that was offensive to the ears.

I still struggle to understand her appeal.

I despair that we applaud uncouth stupidity in this country.

And that I contribute to this by wolfing down OK, NOW and Grazia every week to continue to fuel the sleb fake gas fire

sockmonkey · 19/01/2007 13:42

Grace also got beaten up in the street. Much as I dislike Jade, I don't think she deserves beating
