I'm really not sure where I stand. A lot of it just sems like school girl horridness

OP posts:
dotcotton · 18/01/2007 22:47

Well i read them all with a mixture of horror and amusement.

Isn't it just a case that there is absolutely NO WAY that Jade will win as opposed to them taking a moral stance on her.. (cynical face)

Mercy · 18/01/2007 22:48

tbh I am a bit worried about Jade's behaviour/what may happen next. Surely it's not normal to be soooo angry?

Or is she just so full of herself, believing the media-led hype about her? I can't work it out actually.

brandy7 · 18/01/2007 22:49

i think she has an anger management issue going on

dotcotton · 18/01/2007 22:50

I think the penny's dropping for Jade that she's going to be in trouble so this extra aggression is a primitive defense mechanism

Freckle · 18/01/2007 22:50

Pleased to see on the news that C4 might suffer financially through this. They were apparently today bidding to receive millions of public money, but the CBB debacle has pushed them to the cusp of losing out. The inference was that they have to do something drastic or they won't get the money they want. And I suspect that what they are after is far more than is likely to be raised through voting on BB.

LieselVentouse · 18/01/2007 22:51

Yeah but the thing is if shes ever asked about it she will say well I did apologise so its okay.

VoodooBiltong · 18/01/2007 22:51

I love Dirk. He is the man for me.
I too am an oddball.
He is so affable and 'dances to the beat of his own drum'

urgh, Jades performance tonight made me feel ill. The phrase 'dangerously stupid' resonates here, she has no idea how offensive she is, she is unbelievable.

VoodooBiltong · 18/01/2007 22:52

or ahould that be 'marches'

VoodooBiltong · 18/01/2007 22:52

or should that be 'should'

Aloha · 18/01/2007 22:53

On the way to Sainsbury's tonight I kept thinking about Blu's post about how she would feel if someone spoke about her dp the way Jade & co spoke about Shilpa - 'he touches the food with his hands...don't know where they have been...that's why they are all so thin and unhealthy in his country'...and my blood absolutely ran cold (oddly accurate cliche IMO). It really brought it home to me how horrible it was to think of it happening to someone you know and like and respect. Ugh.

Earlybird · 18/01/2007 22:55

Mercy - agree with you. This all exploded over a minor disagreement/misunderstanding over a stock cube! Clearly there was alot of pent up emotion inside Jade that erupted with minimal provocation.

THought the art exercise was revealing.

mummydear · 18/01/2007 22:55

From the BB website about voting tomooorw and the large numbers it might attract

Quote
'PLEASE NOTE: The media attention generated by Celebrity Big Brother this week is likely to produce a higher than usual number of votes for the Friday night eviction.

On this occasion Channel 4 has decided that all of the

profits made from the voting lines will be donated to the charities sponsored by the housemates.'

I wonder what charites they are sposnsoring ?

beehive · 18/01/2007 22:55

I cannot belive that Edwina Currie has just alled Jade, Jo and Danielle 'slags' on Question Time

JoolsToo · 18/01/2007 22:56

ditto beehive

Aloha · 18/01/2007 22:57

I think I've used that very phrase several times in conversations with friends! She's not an MP any more is she?

JoolsToo · 18/01/2007 22:58

no - she's a 'celebrity'

Bananaknickers · 18/01/2007 22:58

would that be the same woman that shagged John Major behind his wfes back

beehive · 18/01/2007 22:59

vert true banana!

JoolsToo · 18/01/2007 23:00

"On this occasion Channel 4 has decided that all of the

profits made from the voting lines will be donated to the charities sponsored by the housemates."

thank goodness (I've voted )

mummydear · 18/01/2007 23:02

I wonder if Jades charity was the Anti Bullying one which she has now been disowned from !!

AitchTwoOh · 18/01/2007 23:12

i think that's a good thing to have done, for channel four, i was very conflicted about voting but will do so now.
am finding william hill's blatant opportunism absolutely despicable.
(jade is 1/33 on to go, shilpa 10/1, so jade's deffo going, there's not a chance in hell that they'd have to pay out anyway.)

tamum · 18/01/2007 23:14

That's rather a masterstroke on their part. I have never voted in my life but boy will I be this time.

Aloha · 18/01/2007 23:17

I've said worse about the hideous Edwina!

Mercy · 18/01/2007 23:19

Earlybird, it was interesting, yes!

I am beginning to think that Jade needs some counselling (which doesn't mean I feel sorry for her) She has a very agressive attitude which I think stems from her upbringing as well as her ignorance and self-belief.

Jimjams2 · 18/01/2007 23:22

Dh claims to have seen Edwina jogging round clapham common when she was an MP.

I missed tonight, is it getting worse? sounds it!
