Well I have just come across another fascinating site - found it via a link on a website in one of mb's sensible posts early on. It's very wordy and some of it a bit loopy but there is a lot of convincing stuff there too.

Did any of you know that a Secret Service Agent died in WTC7? He wasn't supposed to be there - the building had been evacuated long before. What was he doing there, hmmmm? Fiddling with explosives perhaps?

His body was found and he was awarded a posthumous medal, for bravery or something - I will try to find the page again.

This wording is interesting, from the Congressional Record (Apr 23 2002):

It definitely says he lost his life when "the building", ie WTC 7, collapsed; but also "he went back into the towers to help the wounded". But "the towers" collapsed about 11am, and 7 after 5pm...

I am sorry this thread upsets some people, but consider this, that is also frustrating to have to keep quiet because you will offend someone who has emotional grief / loss because of 9/11. I am very interested to discuss 9/11 and surrounding events - not a goulish manner, but because America conduct increasingly demands that the general public investigates and questions "Who is orchestrating attacks and wars" and "Why". I would like to address that more, but need to post this as my lurking ds is inclined to wipe what I have just written.

That last link was most interesting Jan ...saying that physics simply does not support WTC7 collapse and about the SAS officer...

As I sat up reading all about and discussing it with DH (for the third night on the trot!!!!) I was also quite worried about what Bush was doing on the morning of 9/11.
As the first plane struck, he was in a school..speaking to children. He was not alerted of the plane until the second plane had hit.
He was sat infront of a group of children, reading them a story!...an official came into the classroom...bent over to tell Bush and then the official left the room.
Bush sat for a further 7 minutes in that room, waved goodbye to the children and then left himself.

Its very strange to me! The President of the US was not escorted out... not taken immediately away for any reason..i.e his own safety. I don't think he would of been able to of continued to read for 7 minutes after receiving the news if he had just heard his city was under attack.....would he????

People go back into burning buildings for all sorts of reasons.

ludaloo...doesn't what you describe strike right at the heart of this IMO utterly ludicrous conspiracy theory? He clearly had NO IDEA what was going on. THe whole administration went into panic and didn't know what to do. It was a huge surprise.

The more I look into this the more I get very worried....I have seen very convincing evidence to suggest the buildings could of been demolished...it is far more convincing than what we are lead to believe.

Tower 2......hit by a plane around the 70th floor...near to the top of the building.
Burned for 30 minutes....just 30 minutes...before the entire building collapsed. It didn't just fall over, it actually flattened...it fell into itself.
The top half of the building burned....not the bottom half...yet the whole building dissapeared.
If you look at the pictures you can clearly see Steel Girders poking out from the rubble...these girders are sliced in half! They are sliced...you can see the top of the girder...it isn't bent or melted it is sliced. The explosive they claim could of been used is designed to do exactly this to metal girders. It is designed to blow the girders apart so that the building falls neatly inside itself.

Then the speed at which it was all cleared away is also really worrying me. Steel and metal was shipped to China THE NEXT DAY!!!!!! It was sent to China to be recycled. In any kind of crime scene the evidence needs to be left to be investigated for longer than a day!!!! It was all taken away..or buried very very quickly.
There are projects where whole planes have tried to be rebuilt to find out the cause of a crash. Parts of planes salvaged and kept and then reconstructed to find out what happened. Out of 4 planes that were supposed to of crashed not one piece was kept for investigation.

And then flight 93....it crashed into a field...not one piece of plane was recovered! It was a hole filled with metal...not a wing, not a huge piece of plane...nothing. This plane was then reported to of been seen landing somewhere else by a television broadcast company....who documented the plane landing near a NASA base later that day.

Its all so very scary......

Aloha...I really can see your point...but we are talking about the US Government...they are trained to deal with this sort of thing...they have protocols to foolow when something like this occurs. If their president is in any danger then they HAVE to do something about it...not let him finish his story!!!! For all they knew terrorists might of been heading for him next!

I really can see your point...and indeed all the sound level headed points people are posting in defense but we really are being expected to brush a lot under the carpet.

I don't think it would have been wise for our leader to panic and be urgently escorted out of the school. That would probably set off mass hysteria. I believe that when Bush left that school he went up in Airforce 1 because it was deemed the safest place for him.

I do think he was told about the events when he was at that school probably not many details but I would imagine he was told something like a plane had struck and he had 5 minutes to conclude his schooll vist or something like that.

America was certainly taken by suprise on September 11. And Bush is no exception. Nor Clinton, nor any of his other predecessors.

This idea that Sept. 11 was fabricated is utter and complete nonsense.

They pulled the firefighters back - why did a lone SAS man go IN?? Seems abit weird.

The other strong point I have against the conspiracy argument is this: if the US gov't is really this evil, all-powerful, and organised, how on earth is the truth about their conspiracies getting out? Surely if they are happy to kill thousands of civilians to advance their cause, they'd bump off a book author or two (covering it up, obviously), to keep the truth of their evil plot getting out?

It is only really scary if you only read conspiracy websites, which are designed to be scary. The last pieces of steel from the WTC site were removed in May 2002. That's not really such a rush, is it?
