Trump is amazing. He has the courage to solve the world's problems. But watching cocky Rubio, it seems as if the Republican elite are very, very confident that Trump won't get the necessary 1200 odd delegates and so it will have to go to a "contested convention" when they will take it away from him. If they do that, then the world's problems will never be solved and the deficit will continue to rise.

CoteDAzur · 27/02/2016 23:14

If Trump were to suddenly appear in your living room, what would you do for him claig?

I have this mental image of you prostrating yourself before him, kissing his feet and shouting "Master! Master! I shall obey you... FOREVAH!" in religious fervour.

claig · 27/02/2016 23:18

I would probably faint.

CoteDAzur · 27/02/2016 23:27

Just out of curiosity, do you know that your absolute adoration of an American candidate is very odd?

I have seen you go nuts in your support for Sarah Palin, UKIP, and even Erdogan (ffs), singing their praises with lovehearts in your eyes but I think you have gone completely overboard with this Trump thing.

Have you talked about your frankly frightening obsession with Trump to anyone in RL? I really think you should.

VertigoNun · 27/02/2016 23:29

Trump wouldn't catch you if you fainted. Wink

VertigoNun · 27/02/2016 23:30

Hey there is nothing wrong with a keen interest in something. Not everyone is neurotypical.

claig · 27/02/2016 23:34

'Have you talked about your frankly frightening obsession with Trump to anyone in RL? I really think you should.'

Everyoe I know agrees with me. We are all Trump fans and are all rooting for Trump. This is the biggest challenge ever to the world's elites and if Trump actually makes it and becomes President, nothing will be the same again. That is why Trump is a much bigger deal than Sarah Palin, Farage or anyone else.

FrancisdeSales · 27/02/2016 23:35

So by your logic the USA should have known what it got itself into when it took on trillions of dollars of debt and therefore cannot expect any debt forgiveness.

CoteDAzur · 27/02/2016 23:37

Not neurotypical? I can't quite imagine what kind of SN you think claig has that he falls completely in love with the dumbest, most dangerous, utterly outrageous & frequently fascist candidates in any country, and post-bombs every MN thread about politics or economics with "insights" gleaned from Daily Mail and Fox News so that no other discussion can be had.

CoteDAzur · 27/02/2016 23:38

"Everyoe I know agrees with me. We are all Trump fans and are all rooting for Trump."

Um... are they "all" real people?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 27/02/2016 23:39

I now have a mental image of Claigs living room. Confused

Everyoe I know agrees with me. We are all Trump fans and are all rooting for Trump.

Seriously? Are you on a remote island. I have not met one single solitary person who doesn't think he's a dangerous twat.

claig · 27/02/2016 23:39

FrancisdeSales, yes the US knew and it was irresponsible to spend so much ($2 trillion on wars to overthrow Saddam etc) which has loaded the American people up with debt. But it is the political class who did it, just like Blair took us into war, it has nothing to do with the American people.

But now it is such a huge problem that has an effect on the world economy that everybody needs to help find a solution to it.

claig · 27/02/2016 23:40

'Um... are they "all" real people?'

Well some are scary, but they aren't ghosts.

claig · 27/02/2016 23:42

'Are you on a remote island'

I am in Essex, UKIP country. We agree with the huge crowds and record turnouts who support Trump and think he is great.

claig · 27/02/2016 23:45

CoteAzur, why don't you go back to the Assange thread and spread your strange views about Assange and what he did there? This is a Trump thread, why don't you go elsewhere and leave people who understand politics to discuss Trump?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 27/02/2016 23:55

Ah Essex. That explains a lot. Say hello to my SIL. in fact, you might be my SIL

claig · 27/02/2016 23:58

She sounds like she is full of common sense Smile

claig · 28/02/2016 00:03

Fox has called the South Carolina primary for Hillary Clinton by a large margin.

CoteDAzur · 28/02/2016 00:14

Sorry to disappoint you claig but I can post on more than one thread per year Smile

And to be told by claig that my views are strange. The devoted supporter of Sarah Palin, UKIP, and Erdogan. The devoted audience of Fox News and Daily Mail. Well, that suits me just fine.

I would worry if you thought I was reasonable and balanced, frankly.

claig · 28/02/2016 00:19

'I would worry if you thought I was reasonable and balanced, frankly.'

Well there is no need to worry about that because I think you are the exact opposite. I think you are totally humourless, strange, twisted, bitter and odd which is why I was not surprised by the Assange thread when other posters were.

On another thread, you said you wanted to jump through the screen and punch me on the nose.

"reasonable and balanced" are the last words I would use to describe you.

I think you could use a therapist, but I don't know if there are any who could handle your issues.

VertigoNun · 28/02/2016 00:21

Why would anyone want to jump through a screen? Confused

claig · 28/02/2016 00:22

I don't know, I have never come across anyone like that fortunately.

VertigoNun · 28/02/2016 00:24

Old Trump likes a good punch up, someone linked on FB.

claig · 28/02/2016 00:27

'Old Trump likes a good punch up, someone linked on FB.'

Yes, he said he would like to punch a protestor in the face, as a joke. Today Rubio said "Trump has never ponched anyone in the face", but it turns out he nearly got expelled from school for punching a teacher in the face.
