What a pair. Her endorsement speech yesterday was just bonkers - words just fail me when it comes to Donald Trump.

Is this the best America has to offer?

Just another in the long, long line of mistaken assumptions on which you base your political beliefs, claig.

claig · 31/01/2016 02:02

Veritat, I'm not right all the time, but a 99% accuracy rate is not bad going Wink

claig · 31/01/2016 02:03

Good night

Veritat · 31/01/2016 02:31

Based on the PPE post (and indeed most of your other posts), it's looking like an accuracy rate well below 50%, claig.

Lweji · 31/01/2016 08:25

Oh, FFS
There you go again with this crap, which you have used umpteenth times and have said before it's a joke.
And it's meaningless in reply to the challenge about your usual mistaken assumptions.

SilverHawk · 01/02/2016 21:44

I will add two more PPEs Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper, both Oxford, both Labour.
However, regardless of where MPs/politicians have studied, we do need people that can -
a) read and write
b) add and subtract
Many of 'our' politicians seem to be lacking, or is it
c) lie lie and then lie some more? Treat us like . Much like Lenin said.

claig · 01/02/2016 22:01

Agree, SilverHawk.

Big night tonight - Iowa caucus. It may be a Sanders/Trump victory which will rock the Establishment.

Good article by Katie Hopkins on Trump. I don't agree with Katie on everything, but thank God we have someone with courage who is not politically correct, unlike the PPEs, left in the country.

"Trump is winning against all the odds because ordinary people know that Western Culture is in a fight for its life. So when will someone stand up for it here?"

The caucus system is rather un democratic and open to huge abuse. Be ready for odd results. Surely this is where the money counts.

claig · 01/02/2016 22:26

Microsoft are using software to collate results, I think. Bernie Sanders has questioned it.

Let's hope the people beat the Establishment and the revolution rolls on.

claig · 01/02/2016 22:29

"Iowans are casting the first votes of the 2016 presidential campaign Monday night, and caucus results will be reported by Microsoft with a system it's describing as "the future of civic engagement technology." But not everybody is enthusiastic, with Sen. Bernie Sanders' team in particular expressing doubts.
...
The pressure is on for Microsoft. Any slipup has the potential to not only hurt the company's reputation, but fundamentally alter the balance of the entire election race."

SilverHawk · 01/02/2016 22:35

So the Democrats have openly said they have back up systems.
I wonder if the Republicans do? They must have surely.

Justanotherlurker · 01/02/2016 22:47

The last and previous electronic voting system was widely open for abuse and was easily hacked, funnily enough though was only hacked outside of the vpn and required you to walk up to it with a usb with automated scripts or a laptop, they keystroke 'hack' was proven to be false when in controlled conditions.

The scare mongering is nothing more than sowing a seed in case the 'wrong' person wins.

DoctorTwo · 01/02/2016 23:22

This sounds a bit creepy, but feel the Bern!

claig · 02/02/2016 01:12

Reports all across the state that turnout is astonishingly high. It looks like the people have had enough of the puppets. Good news for Trump and Sanders.

Roughly 70% of Trumo voters won't even consider voting for anyone else. "Trump voters are highly motivted and no chance they will stay away from the polls," says Brett Hulme on Fox New, "they are dying to vote for this guy".

Of course they are, they are Trumpites and it's Trump 2016.

WahhHelpMe · 02/02/2016 05:25

Not a good start for Trump 2016 Claig...

Lweji · 02/02/2016 05:33

Interesting analysis by Forbes

Not that Cruz is particularly better.
It's still interesting that it's the Republicans running the Latino candidates. But from the national polls it looks like either has the best chance to beat Hillary. Unlike Donnie.
It she makes it to the finish line...

Mistigri · 02/02/2016 06:15

Trump is finished.

The establishment republicans hate Cruz even more than Trump. I think Rubio has to be the favourite for the nomination now.

That went well, didn't it.

Lweji · 02/02/2016 07:46

There goes the 99,9% 0,01% rate out the window.

MorrisZapp · 02/02/2016 07:49

What's happened?

Lweji · 02/02/2016 07:54

Clinton and Sanders are a tie. Pretty much. By 0,3%, with virtually 50% each. The others are out.
Cruz, then Trump, then Rubio by a few points. More than 3 % between Cruz and Trump, but pretty much a 3 way split. All others are also out.

Chippednailvarnish · 02/02/2016 07:58

Veritat Grin

Lweji · 02/02/2016 07:58

In fact, I think Sanders could still get ahead, I think. It's not completely finished yet

MorrisZapp · 02/02/2016 08:02

Read the Forbes link, thanks. What does GOP stand for?

So relieved Trump lagged behind. I have no idea who the other Republican guys are, maybe now the media can focus on actual real candidates instead of that tedious timewaster.

Anybody else a Sanders lover?

MorrisZapp · 02/02/2016 08:04

I'll Google the other Republican candidates.
