Sarah Palin and Donald Trump

What a pair. Her endorsement speech yesterday was just bonkers - words just fail me when it comes to Donald Trump.

Is this the best America has to offer?

OP posts:
claig · 25/01/2016 18:07

'Do you remember the optimism, relief, and the hope that Obama once represented post Dubbya? ..'

Yes. It was great optimism. We all watched his speech and shed a few tears to see the first black man ever elected President. It was a great, historic day and the whole world stood with the African American community and were s proud that they had a real champion as President.

I also remember Blair, who to my eternal shame, I voted for in 1997. We were all so hopeful that the country would change for the better and it just got worse and worse with war and then culminating with them trying to start the Big Brother State with their DNA databases and bioetric ID cards.

I think Trump is anti Establishment (you can tell because he is anti global warming and not politically correct), unless it is a very clever trick. Obama and Blair were puppets of the system. I don't think Trump is. At least I hope so.

If Trump lets the people down, a lot of good people will be disappointed, among them the Stump for Trump sisters who are giving it all they have got stumping for Trump.

We will have to wait and see what happens.

"If" Dear me....

Donald Trump's remarks spur Latino 'naturalization blitz' before election

Ups

Lweji · 26/01/2016 16:44

I think Trump is anti Establishment (you can tell because he is anti global warming

I must be very distracted. I was convinced the Establishment was anti-global warming.

0phelia · 26/01/2016 17:21

Yes, I also thought the oil-wealthy, pro-destructive capitalist establishment class were anti global-warming.

It has taken decades of anti-establishment independent lobbying to bring climate change into mainstream awareness.

The establishment usually try to opress environmental campaigns for capitalist goals.

0phelia · 26/01/2016 17:25

Lweji Grin He hasn't a hope in hell. Historically politicians try to appease north/south American relations to maximise their potential voting electorate. You get nowhere fast by alienating huge groups of the population.

claig · 26/01/2016 18:08

'I was convinced the Establishment was anti-global warming.'

I am not surprised you don't understand the most fundamental basics of politics and what goes on.

Are any of Oxbridge, PPEs, Blair, former Labour leader, Gordon Bennett, Cameron, Lords, Ladies, luvvies, actors, slebs, MBEs, OBEs, the world's bureaucrats and political classes who carried out the arms held aloft kumbaya at the Paris COP etc etc climate change sceptics?

There is one perosn who is - Donald J Trump - candidate of the people. This is what he tweeted "This global warming BULLSHIT has got to stop".

Now do you understand what is at stake? Now di yiu ynderstand #elitepanic.

If Trump wins, the entire game is up.

Why do you think there is such Trumpmania which eclipses Beatlemania by far?

Have you seen the faces of Trumo fans when they get to meet him? They understand what is at stake.

The queues in Iowa stretch for miles waiting to see Trump. They stand outside in sub-zero temperatures with snow piled metres high outside, queueing up to hear the truth and jump aboard the Trump train to victory.

It's Trump 2016!

shebird · 26/01/2016 18:17

Some interesting viewing about Claigs hero Mr Trump tonight. Don't tell me - it's all lies and just the elite in panic modeGrin

shebird, I agree with you.

claig · 26/01/2016 18:25

Have you seen the face of Robin Roy when she met Trump up close? That look has nothing to do with the state of his combover, as some of the elite try to say.

Max keiser speaking to conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has just said that Hillary is toast and he thinks Trump will be the Republicn nominee and he hopes that Trump gets into power. The leftwing poster, DoctorTwo ,will not be happy, but Trump fans are already cracking open the bottles. Smile

Keiser says that Trump will be the oligarch who takes down the other oligarchs, that Trump will clean uo the system.

Trump 2016! #elitepanic

No more kumbayas, no more global warming Smile

It took a long time, but we finally won.

Lweji · 26/01/2016 19:56

I am not surprised you don't understand the most fundamental basics of politics and what goes on.
Because the big oil companies are not part of the establishment. Silly me. Grin

claig · 26/01/2016 20:00

'Because the big oil companies are not part of the establishment'

The big oil comapnies can buy out all of the puppets ten times over (apart from Trump of course, who "can't be bullied and can't be bought") so the fact that they haven't done it means that they are part of the kumbaya, because the game is much bigger than oil and they are all in the kumbaya together.

claig · 26/01/2016 20:05

Max Keiser, who is generally left wing and liberal rather than conservative, has just gone out all the way and joined the people. He has said he endorses Trump, no ifs no buts.

Trump 2016!

UnGoogleable · 26/01/2016 23:15

Just watched that C4 Documentary on Trump.

While I always thought he was a total joke, I now realize he's a dangerous man.

A petty, narcissistic, reactionary, raging misogynist. The way he behaved over the Aberdeen golf course was appalling - and Alex Salmond was there looking all contrite - he got sucked in by the glitz and the showmanship as much as the rest of them only to be stung at the end.

Can you imagine how dangerous he could be as leader of the free world?

What shocked me the most was this comment:

During Thursday's presidential debate, Kelly pressed Trump about misogynistic, sexist comments he made in the past, such as calling some women "fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals."

Trump slammed Kelly, saying her questions were "ridiculous" and "off-base."

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes," Trump told CNN's Don Lemon on Friday night. "Blood coming out of her wherever."

Blood coming out of her wherever? WTAF?

Someone summed it up very well on that docu saying it's the sort of comment a 13 year old boy sent off to boarding school would make. And that's exactly what he is. They suggested that he has experienced some sort of arrested development where he still behaves like that 13 year old. I tend to agree.

claig · 26/01/2016 23:31

'While I always thought he was a total joke, I now realize he's a dangerous man.'

That's probably what they wanted you to feel, the way they slanted the programme.

'Can you imagine how dangerous he could be as leader of the free world? '

He will fox it. Do you realise how dangerous the situation in the world is now. Stocks are collapsing. There are factions who want war with Russia and or China in order to save their cash and power. Trump just said again minutes ago "wouldn't it be nice if we got on well with Russia and got them to pay to defeat Isis?" The risk of war is not from Trump. He will destroy Isis, but he won't be going to war with Russia and/or China.

'They suggested that he has experienced some sort of arrested development '
Yes, the Channel 4 guy agreed with that. No surprise.

Trump is not politically correct, he is a very tough guy and he says he bears grudges. He is narcissistic. But he also has positives which have appealed to the American Republican people. They want someone to go into Washington and clean it out and sack the puppets, bring jobs back to the United States, stop illegal immigration, end political correctness, end Obamacare and make America great again.

The Channel 4 guy slanted the whole show. Rubbish like interviewing a Republican who had written "Stop Tump hate" on a derellict house and who compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and who said he would leave the country if Trump gets elected.

But the real giveaway that the programme was a metropolitan elite type operation was when he said that in 2008 Obama's message was about hope whereas Trump's message is about fear. In reality, the reason Trump gets the biggest crowds of any politician and has given Fox and CNN the biggest audiences for election debates in US history is because Trump's message is all about hope "make America great again".

Just watching Trump now and I get the feeling that Trump will not turn up for the debate because of Fox's Megyn Kelly. It looks like he will play hardball with Fox and boycott the debate. It is a risky strategy and it may backfire for him, but Fox are scared because they know that their audeience love Trump and that they will probabaly blame Fox for Trump not showing up. If Trump pulls it off then he will have defeated the media and nothing will be able to stop him. But it could also backfire on him.

claig · 26/01/2016 23:42

"China warns George Soros against going to 'war' on its currency
....
The message comes in a piece published in China's People's Daily titled "Declaring war on China's currency? Ha ha."

People's Daily is the Communist Party's mouthpiece."

uk.businessinsider.com/china-warned-george-soros-against-war-on-the-renminbi-2016-1?r=US&IR=T

Soros is the billionaire who funds the Democrats.

There is a power battle between elites and Trump says he hopes the "bubble" won't burst.

claig · 26/01/2016 23:46

If Trump beats Fox, he will be President because the world will see that not only is he scared of no one and can say whatever the hell he likes even if our MPs want to ban him, but he will also have shown that the media can't push him around and he is subject to no one.

'Maybe you'd like to see what www.cleverbot.com/ thinks about the subject.'

I always read your views.

claig · 27/01/2016 01:03

Trump has done it. He has called Fox's bluff. He is taking them on.
Trump has said he will not be in the deabte.

Fox viewers will blame the phoney conservatives at Fox.

Gawd knows what the Stump for Trump sisters will have to say about this.

This was them last time, 5 months ago, when it first started with Fox's Megyn Kelly.

shebird · 27/01/2016 09:12

Trump is a bully. Bullies don't like it when someone looks them in the eye and stands up to them, in Trumps case even more so if it's a woman. Good on Fox and Megyn Kelly for refusing to be bullied and intimidated.

OP posts:
claig · 27/01/2016 09:23

shebird, Trump is a bully, he is bullying Fox, taking the media on and showing the American people that he does not kowtow to the media for poll ratings or anything else. As his former adviser said "he can't be bullied, he can't be bought".

Fox are in pieces at the moment. No one will bother watching their debate. They used to get 1 million viewers for their debates in the last election and now with Trump they broke all records and got 24 million. Their advertising sponsors will demand cuts in their ad fees and all the "career politician" puppets on the stage will take hits at Trump and Trump will just become even more popular with the public because the entire "career" class of puppets and the media who acts as a controller will be shown to be against the people's candidate, Donald J Trump.

He is ruthless, he is a bully, he is narcissistic, but he is also brilliant and not a politically correct puppet and that is why he will be President of the United States.

Here is Trump on Putin and Litvinenko. He doesn't follow orders, they can't control, they wanted to ban him, he will be President. He doesn't play the game. There will be no wars with Trump, he will just make America great again and they can't stop him.

"Donald Trump defends Vladimir Putin over Alexander Litvinenko murder

The US Republican front-runner wades into the Litvinenko case to claim that "many people say it wasn't Putin"

Donald Trump has defended Vladimir Putin after a British public inquiry found the Russian president "probably" sanctioned the assassination of Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko in London.

Mr Trump waded into the case saying he had seen "no evidence" of Mr Putin's involvement, adding: "They say a lot of things about me that are untrue too."

The front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination has previously said he felt a "great honour" when Mr Putin praised him as an "absolute leader".

Particularly because he's said so many off the cuff lies, is so full of contradictions and empty soundbites that wouldn't survive close scrutiny by a clever journalist.
