People to approach. I for one dont think it should only be women that are approached. I add to my previous list
Jeremy Paxman, Kirsty Wark, Sandi Toksvig, Germaine Greer.

Pinkchampchoccies · 13/01/2016 16:29

I quite like

#womenofeuropesayno although.. what about young girls they get groped too and are the most vulnerable.

DespicableBee · 13/01/2016 16:29

Does anyone feel differently about immigration, Europe, migrant crisis since cologne...I do

Pinkchampchoccies · 13/01/2016 16:30

#keepyourhandstoyourself

VertigoNun · 13/01/2016 16:31

Yes, if they were unfamiliar with food such as baked beans they wouldn't eat it, they threw it away. If they even suspected something not halal it was thrown away.

The Men wouldn't wear jeans unless they were to their fashion.

We were shocked at the time. I felt so bad for them even an arsehole deserves help. This was at a time where you wouldn't want to admit you were helping for fear of being attacked. A bit like now, only this time I am being attacked for helping Women.

whodrankmycoffee · 13/01/2016 16:33

despicable

Me - I am voting out despite my job benefiting from our eu membership. My reasoning is that I do not trust the powers that be to prioritise women whilst we remain.

VertigoNun · 13/01/2016 16:34

Another problem at the Jungle was rubbish, it was only volunteers who removed rubbish, refugees didn't help or see it as something they should take responsibility for. It was 90% Men at the time.

I gave up when it became trendy to help.

Pinkchampchoccies · 13/01/2016 16:35

Have we given up on 2♀16?

#Cologne2♀16?
#Europe2♀16

whodrankmycoffee · 13/01/2016 16:35

To be fair I still don't trust them. But after the last few days I am just focusing on my more basic rights like walking the streets unmolested.

VertigoNun · 13/01/2016 16:36

2♀16 didn't work on twitter.Sad

DespicableBee · 13/01/2016 16:40

Yes I was 50/50 the Europe vote, now in the space of two weeks I'm 100% out!
Also I thought it was great before thinking Europe is helping the migrants, I didn't give a thought to how many young males were coming into countries, why would I?
Now I'm like, why didn't the countries agree to take women, children, vulnerable groups?
I think I was naive to think that the migrants would all be genuine rather than many coming from countries that arent at war, eg Morocco, Algeria etc

Olivepip59 · 13/01/2016 16:41

Agreed. Sexism has no gender.

I'm on my wind-up gramophone of a mobile that got chucked off the ark.

When I am home, I will compile stuff.

In the meantime, all those fab people who've taken the time to post links, may I trouble you to pm then to me if you can be arsed and I can get a resource post together sharpish.

Also if anyone has Twitter-active kids, I think we should be targeting young women as mentioned upthte

Pinkchampchoccies · 13/01/2016 16:42

Vertigo, as a gif?

DespicableBee · 13/01/2016 16:43

I think in the twitter tag you should mention the word cologne

34z67y90 · 13/01/2016 16:43

Reply from Mr Davies. He agrees.....

nothing yet from my MP or MEP !

VertigoNun · 13/01/2016 16:44

We need a knob by you tuber. My teens know how it works. The youtube people mostly narcissistic types are in gangs that share followers. These people are huge influences. My dd gets quite irate at the sheep following they have and has to step away. Grin

Olivepip59 · 13/01/2016 16:44

#nein

Pinkchampchoccies · 13/01/2016 16:46

I quite like #Cologne2♀16? if it would work as a gif.
#Europe2♀16 might be off-putting in that the concept of Europe is a political problem at present.

#Cologne2♀16 (if possible as a gif that is) represents the focusing event.

DespicableBee · 13/01/2016 16:49

Yay for Mr Davies MP 😀
(Can't believe I'm starting to agree with Tory MPs😕)

2016IsANewYearforMe · 13/01/2016 16:50

I thought I was voting IN. Now I would vote OUT. Hard to say whether enough action can be taken for me to be reassured by the summer. If not, OUT.

VertigoNun · 13/01/2016 16:53

Scary Despicable.

Zoella is a youtube star you want on board.

I dont know the others names. I did have to sit in judgement of an Irish Man and his baby trying to leap off a sofa onto a hard wood floor, this week dd is raging at them and made me watch. So there are two European youtube stars already.

ItsJustaUsername · 13/01/2016 16:59

No replies for me as yet, have now also emailed Nicky Morgan and Theresa May. Just to point out if you are not in Nicky's constituency you get an auto reply asking you to email [email protected]
I like the idea of mass leaflet drops with simplistic cartoon drawings, especially as the 'I didn't know it was wrong' bullshit is being bandied about.
I feel heartened to see so many mumsnetters taking this issue seriously especially as there seems to be a massive radio silence elsewhere, really disappointed in some of my friends right now. Like I said earlier I really don't think the British public will take any notice until it happens here but I still feel that shouting loudly and keeping this issue in social media as well contacting people with influence are all positive steps we can take.

Nice to hear a social aspect being taken into consideration for a change rather than always always ecconmic
