Not an easy one, my mind keeps changing. Right now I'm going for Life On Mars.

Anyone else?

Absolutely 'Wild is the wind'
but 'Lady Grinning soul' a very close second...

A bloody genius!

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 10:04

Jellycat, you are more than welcome to come round and play those 2 tracks on constant rotation. Vinyl is out, turntable turning, volume up...

I am currently letting There Is a Happy Land reduce me to tears

timelytess · 11/01/2016 10:06

survive.

Crispbutty · 11/01/2016 10:06

"Tonight"

It's a beautiful peaceful song.

DoreenLethal · 11/01/2016 10:07

Bowie introduced me to Scott Walker and Jaques Brel. Long before I was mature enough to appreciate them.

The scene in Ziggy when he sings My Death and the audience shout 'me me' gets me every time.

BishopBrennansArse · 11/01/2016 10:10

Life on Mars

Hallo Spaceboy

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 10:12

Same here, Doreen.

I am working my way through David Bowie (the album at the moment)... all those sad 60s lyrics, that accent, that angst.

Yes, I did skip Uncle Arthur Smile

RidersOnTheStorm · 11/01/2016 10:12

Sorrow
Heroes
Changes

lazybones77 · 11/01/2016 10:14

ItotheRtotheL · 11/01/2016 10:21

Far too many to choose from.

Heroes
Loving the Alien

Absolute Beginners
Starman
Fame
Wild is the Wind
Man who sold the World

GrouchyKiwi · 11/01/2016 10:25

Golden Years has always been my favourite.

Kooks makes me happy.

Within You from Labyrinth is wonderful.

Heroes

ChillieJeanie · 11/01/2016 10:34

I'm currently listening to Diamond Dogs, which is one of my favourites of his albums. Rock N Roll With Me nearly had me weeping just now.

slicedfinger · 11/01/2016 10:40

Kooks
Letter to Hermione
Life on Mars

Actually too many to list.

slug · 11/01/2016 10:43

Another vote for Wild is the Wind

However, standing in a field at Glastonbury with 20,000 people all singing Heroes remains one of the most uplifting moments of my life.

Jellykat · 11/01/2016 10:46

Aw thank you OurBlanche will bring tissues (if i've any left..)

Just been You Tubeing, i've always thought he knew what was imminent with 'Where are we now', it's too retrospective to be anything else. Sad

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 10:54

I don't think I will buy it or listen to it, Jellykat.

I had Freddie Mercury's last, Innuendo, and can't play that either. Another who knew what was coming and made music to reflect it.

I have reached After All... I may need to go out and buy more tissues myself

Samcro · 11/01/2016 10:55
