Well no loss there.

OP posts:
IhateMagic · 14/07/2015 17:53

I don't often laugh gleefully at the death of someone......I did today.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/07/2015 17:56

I'm not sorry for her at all, whyever should I be. She was cruel and heartless towards an innocent and defenceless child.

YouPooPooBumBum · 14/07/2015 18:00

She tortured and caused the death of a precious little boy, her own son.
She was his mum. She was supposed to do anything to keep him safe and instead she beat him and starved him. The world won't miss her.

PyjamasLlamas · 14/07/2015 18:00

Why would anyone be 'sorry' for her? There was no evidence that she had a mental illness she was just an evil human being

Fizrim · 14/07/2015 18:01

Daniel wasn't her only child - I am thinking of her other child tonight, it must be so hard to wonder why she did that to Daniel and not to him. No winners in this story at all.

YouPooPooBumBum · 14/07/2015 18:04

^I think she had 2/3 other children? So yes, I feel sorry for them.

AoifeBell · 14/07/2015 18:04

I agree Ihatemagic and MrsDavidBiwie. Glad we don't have to pay to feed and "house" that scum anymore. She should of done it sooner. I hope she burns.

PyjamasLlamas · 14/07/2015 18:07

But why feel more sorry for them now? It's not like they just lost a loving mother. At least this way there is no chance she could ever get out and hurt them too

PyjamasLlamas · 14/07/2015 18:08

I mean to say obviously I feel sorry for her other children. What a hideous thing to carry with you for the rest of your life. But her death? No.

SophiePendragon · 14/07/2015 18:09

Aoife, do you ever think about her other children and how they might feel to read this sort of hatred online when they are older, or even now?

No, I didn't think you did.

THEY are still suffering because of what happened. You're not. It is that simple. So I think people need to STFU and stop making this worse for THEM.

Northernlurker · 14/07/2015 18:10

There was never any chance of her harming her surviving child. I've just posted this on another thread and I'll say this here too - Can we NOT dance on somebody's grave please? It's despicable behaviour whoever the deceased is and what they've done.

WidowWadman · 14/07/2015 18:15

It's not been reported what she has died of, but if it's not of natural causes, it shows shortcomings in the prison system which are no cause for celebration no matter what she has done.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/07/2015 18:17

I'm not dancing but don't agree with your sentiment northernlurker. Some people just don't deserve our sympathy.

DrElizabethPlimpton · 14/07/2015 18:17

I have no feelings about the woman dying.

Her little boy's death however, truly one of the most horrific cases of child abuse and murder. His dear little face is haunting.

GeorgeYeatsAutomaticWriter · 14/07/2015 18:20

There's a very large middle ground between the gleeful comments on this thread, on the one hand, and sympathy, on the other ThroughThickandThin

Andrewofgg · 14/07/2015 18:20

Northernlurker It's you and me against the rest, isn't it?

One of his siblings actually witnessed the attacks and helped Daniel, let him use the toilet and hoarded food to feed him. Cuddled avid kissed him after he was beaten. So yes, i do think of the other children. I think when they're older they'll understand the hate and harsh comments about their evil loathsome "mother"

I won't feel bad for feeling elated that that bitch is dead. Hopefully her boyfriend will follow suit! Smile

Oh right thanks Andrew.

PotteringAlong · 14/07/2015 18:27

mrsdavidbowie I had to google who Daniel Pelka was when I saw this thread - I don't think it's a given that everyone knows who he is. And regardless of what she was in prison for someone else is dead. With other children and families. "Lol"?! Where's your sense of decency

PotteringAlong · 14/07/2015 18:28

(Sorry, clicked post as I was trying to edit) you lot? Gleeful over the death of a human? It's like a baying pack and not very pleasent.

BleachEverything · 14/07/2015 18:31

That case was heartbreaking.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/07/2015 18:31

Pottering, I'm not sure how you missed the news coverage about Daniel Pelka. You have to seriously avoid all news to have not known.

AoifeBell · 14/07/2015 18:31

Why are you sad that she's dead? Shes a child murderer. She KILLED A CHILD! Was you sad when Fred west died or Ian Brady? I will never be sad that someone like her is dead. The only thing I'm sad about is the fact that she only done two years of her sentence.
