ah, thank you forago

mrsmeerkat · 16/04/2015 00:21

I think it means there is definite evidence zing, but we cannot speculate anything until we hear more

99redbaboons · 16/04/2015 00:23

I think it means sufficient evidence to suggest that a particular crime has been committed.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 16/04/2015 00:28

it says on whichever website (Telegraph I think) "clothing and another item linked to missing student have been found"
oh let her be found okSad

squoosh · 16/04/2015 00:37

Heartbreaking watching her parents at the press conference. Can't stop thinking about them.

I'm Irish and spent my 20's living in the West End of Glasgow, know that club well. It all feels so familiar yet so horrifying at the same time.

CherriesAndSlippers · 16/04/2015 00:38

Oh no Hmm
Finding clothing is never good. Though I can't seem to find anything online about it

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 16/04/2015 00:42

cuntyMcCunterson · 16/04/2015 01:40

It has just been announced by Police Scotland Facebook that "human remains" have been found on the farm being searched and relatives have been made aware. Truly tragic.

bellacullen18981 · 16/04/2015 01:47

Just been released by police they have found human remains on a farm just outside glasgow, that they believe are this poor girl, devastating scary news Hmm

I was hoping this wouldn't be the news we woke to this morning.
Karen's poor family, they must be going through hell.
RIP Karen Sad

The guy has not been convicted. PLEASE don't prejudice the chances of a fair trial or he may not be.

Christ Sad

Psipsina · 16/04/2015 06:22

And now I wish I hadn't defended Brennie. Sorry about that.

Alwaysrushingaround · 16/04/2015 07:12

RIP KarenThanks

Valsoldknickers · 16/04/2015 07:26

RIP Karen, such a sad end.

AgentCooper · 16/04/2015 07:35

Bless her and her poor family. This makes me so angry, that poor, poor young woman, with everything ahead of her.

alteredimages · 16/04/2015 07:37

RIP Karen, and prayers for you and your family. Flowers

In common with many other posters Karen's disappearance has affected me in a way others haven't. I don't know whether it is because I spent my youth in Scotland doing the same things or whether having a daughter of my own has changed my perspective, but in any case, Karen's energy and goodness shine through in all the photos and I hope this will be of some comfort to her family.

So so sad and such a pointless waste.

FluffyCubs · 16/04/2015 07:40

I'm so upset that that poor girl was found. Hard to believe something so awful could happen in the west end. I met my husband in that nightclub and she lives in the same street as my sister.

Nobody would ever choose to walk from kelvin dale to hill street, it feels like such a trek ... I never believed that one.

123upthere · 16/04/2015 07:45
Hmm
ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 16/04/2015 07:48

altered

some news hit you harder even if you never knew the person/ because there is a sort of bond or you can relate more.
Utterly shocking and heartbreaking for her parents, brothers, friends & family.
And sad for all who were hoping for her safe return. These tragedies effect a lot of people - not because of morbid curiosity or rubber necking but simply because it is possible to connect and care for the lives of strangers.
So so sad for her and her family tooSad

blowinahoolie · 16/04/2015 07:49

Horrible, horrible news to wake up to this morning. I have been thinking of this case since the news broke..can't believe what the parents must be going through right now.

olafisking · 16/04/2015 07:50

Tragic news, her poor family.

Mkz10, I hope you are never called up for jury duty. It's for the police and the courts to determine guilt based on evidence, not for you to do so because you don't like how someone looks Hmm
