...because, according to the news, her seperated parents can't give her the care that she needs. It so sad, I want to cry. Poor, poor Charlotte, poor, poor parents.

TheDaVinciCod - i was trying to stick up for you as my typing skills are terrible

kittythescarygoblin · 17/10/2006 21:51

Oh Socci, how can you say that. if someone upsets you it doesn't make them a troll. if that is the case then many of you have said nasty things to me in your time, what does that make you? No doubt you will find yourself exempt from that particular rulling.

GreenSepticStumps · 17/10/2006 21:53

Can you explain to me how a decent, reasonable person says "your only upset because you have pnd get over it?"

Because I don't get it, kitty. That's not a clash of opinions or a heated exchange of views. It's a nasty, spiteful, pointless little dig. From a troll.

kittythescarygoblin · 17/10/2006 21:53

Greeny, she's angry fhs, what do you expect. i've seen alot worse written than that by longstanding members of this 'community' and that doesn't make them trolls. it makes them very pissed off and they express that, rightly or wrongly, but it doesn't make them a troll.

foxinbubblesletsmaketrouble · 17/10/2006 21:53

I cried at the time, seeing them fight for Charlotte's life and felt great compassion for the parents - now I only feel compassion for the children and cynicism towards them.

Anyone who hangs out their dirty washing in the press like this is highly questionable IMO - perhaps they just liked their 15 minutes of fame and now it has all gone quiet have lost interest in their poor daughter in hospital (ducks again)?

This is a serious question, I'm not trolling

GreenSepticStumps · 17/10/2006 21:54

She has no more reason to be angry than the rest of us. It doesn't explain or excuse the comment she made to Socci.

I'm interested to know which posters on here warrant getting called twats.

Perhaps you can enlighten me kitty?

kittythescarygoblin · 17/10/2006 21:55

Greeny, how many times have to winessed me being on the receiving end of nasty, pointless digs?? If you like I can copy and paste some, but you know what i'm saying.

I agree with a lot of what you say and because of my son I will not have any more children - I just about hold it together - there are so many appointments and the time you need to put into a special child does not really allow for more babies, I just think the posts are getting a bit silly now (From me to about the PND) but I guess we all have real passion about what we are talking about....

foxinbubblesletsmaketrouble · 17/10/2006 21:57

HappryMum - and I haven't even had a glass of wine!

Agreed with you earlier too, when reading your posts.

Seems to be two seperate conversations going on on this thread though at the moment

sorrell · 17/10/2006 21:58

No, cod has poor typing skills, Rust is barely literate. A big difference. And she's obsessed with using post natal depression as a bizarre insult. Very odd.

I don't think I've seen anything along the lines of "you have pnd get over it". That strikes me as unusually vicious and ignorant.

kittythescarygoblin · 17/10/2006 22:01

Would you like me to chose another word then? twat was a random choice, expressing my anger at The way some posters have behaved on this thread. Change it if you like, I don't mind.
Anyway, that has nothing to do with this thread, are you following me around ?

Quadrofiendia · 17/10/2006 22:02

I agree with freakyfloss' post and also that of the foxy person, less sensationalist but still to the point, this whole situation is very sad and my sympathy for the parents has run out

Rust - I have a SN brother and yes of course it did impact on our lives and still does. Always felt our Mum was never here for us, but we understood why and we all love him to bits and are just grateful for our good health.

My gripe is with the selfishness of Charlotte's parents throughout this whole process. They've used her and dumped her IMO.

Why do people on benefits think its OK to have endless kids and never get a job, when others like us have to work very hard to pay our way? Call me old fashioned, but I was brought up to believe you should contribute to the ecconomy, pay your way and not expect something for nothing.

(sound of running ....)

Quadrofiendia · 17/10/2006 22:04

fox quit while your ahead

Quadrofiendia · 17/10/2006 22:04

you're

rust · 17/10/2006 22:05

actually you are right i can only just about write, but i don't think that really matters do you

GreenSepticStumps · 17/10/2006 22:05

No, in your case it's probably a good thing

foxinbubblesletsmaketrouble · 17/10/2006 22:06

Quad - oooh I'm on a roll now - the others are all too busy fighting amongst themselves!

(snorts emoticon)

niceglasses · 17/10/2006 22:06

Oh God, this really is Groundhog day.

Can not for the life of me see what benefits has to do with it. I think that is just a convenient stick for you to beat the family with. They are probably entitled to the benefits. God forbid you might be entitled yourself one day and need them - like they probably do.

I think we are back to arguing deserving and undeserving poor.

foxinbubblesletsmaketrouble · 17/10/2006 22:07

Hey Rust - come back over here
