Panic in elite circles

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

I think they should be holding a suicide watch at No 10 tonight as how much bad news can a man take in a week?

as, according to the Sunday Times headline. Mrs Merkel - I will block PM on immigration.

oh dearie dearie me.

What's that word that I've lost and am searching for. Ah yes CREDIBILITY.

Dave's is totally shot now,

ironically, if the EU thinks that Dave bashing is more likely to assist their puppet Ed to victory they obviously have totally misunderstood the people of Britain.

But that wouldn't be the first time they had fine that either GrinGrinGrinw

this is really starting hi warm up and get very interesting indeed.

UKIP would send Boris straight back. He's a complete joke, almost in the same league as Ed. at he party would disintegrate if Boris tried to join UKIP. Perhaps that's Dave's secret weapon tp bring about UKIPs demise? Sending Boris over the trenches for a game of football with Nigel Grin

WetAugust · 25/10/2014 22:17

The journos have been digging and it transpires that the legislation that compels us to pay 2 billion pounds to the EU was dinged by William Hague in April 2013

I always thought that these politicians were going around blithely signing this that and the other that comes out of the EU without understanding the implications. It would seem my suspicions wee correct. I mean who forgets that they might have a bill of 2 billion coming? Someone who doesn't understand what he's dinged up to

Shame co so liked William. Perhaps that's shy he's getting out of politics - before Dave found out what he'd doneGrinGrinGrin

Anyway, from now on I intend to refer to the EU as the EE, the European Experiment because that us what it is and we are certainly not acting in union at thus particular time

Out out out !

Pixel · 25/10/2014 22:22

ironically, if the EU thinks that Dave bashing is more likely to assist their puppet Ed to victory they obviously have totally misunderstood the people of Britain.

They obviously don't realise that over here Ed is used as a threat a bit like the bogeyman - if you don't vote for us then Ed the Bogeyman will get into number 10! As far as I can tell many more people would be voting UKIP if it wasn't for the fear of accidentally letting Ed in.

WetAugust · 25/10/2014 22:29

yes, I think your right. But voters are much more sophisticated than they used to be and they'll look at which party is most likely to beat Ed

I really can't see that this current Labour Party is at all relevant to those traditional Labour voters. in genius L about party there were people who I respected. I have zero respect for this New L about bunch of chancers led by Ed and I actually think there are a lot of people who would have voted Labour but won't do so if it means they get Ed. I mean if he did win Labour would be stuck with him forever. if the lose, at least they can ditch Ed

silver liningsGrin

WetAugust · 25/10/2014 22:30

Your should have been you're. the mistake pains me go look at Grin

It pained me too, but I was too polite to say Grin.

Officially UKIP luv Boris, Wheeler no doubt thinks he's worth 10 home grown candidates, hell, the man who funds UKIP and is your current Treasurer, strategist, and policy maker would rejoin the Conservatives if Boris was leader - so the U-kipper minions who clearly didn't get the memo, should be careful who they diss. lol

”I would rejoin Tories... but only with Boris as a leader, says mastermind who plotted coup from his castle”

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2738810/I-rejoin-Tories-Boris-leader-says-mastermind-plotted-coup-castle.html
• Stuart Wheeler lit the fuse on the 'Carswell coup' over a secret lunch
• He has been wining and dining a number of dissatisfied Tory MPs
• Former Tory said he would not return to the party with Cameron as leader
• But that could change if Boris took over and brought in Ukip-friendly policies

“Stuart Wheeler (born 30 January 1935) is a British businessman and politician. He made his fortune as the founder of the spread betting firm IG Index in 1974, but is best known for his political activism,[1] being formerly a major donor to the Conservative Party and, since 2011, treasurer of the United Kingdom Independence Party.”

All Miliband needs is 31% of the vote to form the next government, from the 29% in 2010 they kept after an abysmal record - and in 2015 will have many disaffected 2010 Lib Dem voters (nearly 7 million) to help them, as they ain’t going Tory or UKIP.

Furthermore if the Lib Dem remainder as a whole or individually don''t vote with Miliband, Labour will have similar ideology to the SDP (who could pick up many of the current 41 Labour Scottish seat if lost), Plaid Cymru, Social Democrats and maybe Sinn Fein - in which to form a pro EU, tax high, spend badly, coalition.

Meanwhile the Conservatives will have their vote split by UKIP, who ensured in 2010, with just 3% of the vote, Cameron did not have a parliamentary majority.
”General Election 2010: Ukip challenge 'cost Tories a Commons majority”

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/ukip/7693877/General-Election-2010-Ukip-challenge-cost-Tories-a-Commons-majority.html

So if UKIP get just 8-11% of the votes (currently polling at 18%), rather than equate to 30-40 seats for UKIP, it means however out of Labour and the Lib Dems is closest to the Conservatives in the marginals, will win the seat from Conservatives.

*So thanks to UKIP who make so much noise and political capital about the EU, and why its Camerons fault, by letting a Labour coalition rule from 2015 - will both ensure the UK stays in the EU for the next 5-10 years at least AND put Labour in charge of settling the Scottish uprising with bribes - to make sure they get their votes back in 2020.^

Thank you Mr Farage. Not.

WetAugust · 26/10/2014 00:41

Isitmebut

Do yourself a favour. Read Janet Daly's I column in the Telegraph. I think you will find it very illuminating.

WetAugust · 26/10/2014 09:58

... But she also brings in mice, which is something that even Dave can't be trained to do Grin

Although he'll promise you that he can catch at least 5243 mice an hourGrinGrinGrin

Isitmebut · 26/10/2014 10:39

WetAugust …. “Mice”? Frankly I don’t give a rats tail at whatever you are looking at, as similar to Farage and everyone associated with the need for Westminster power (over who governs the UK and whether we get the option to leave the EU), you don’t care about ‘the big picture policies’ of important everyday life government – and what legacy we leave our children.

A vote UKIP get a 2015 Labour/Miliband UK socialist coalition, as mentioned further above e.g. with the SDP, due to ‘open ended’ devolution, WILL come at a price to England and our taxpayers.

The SDP may say they want to raise Scottish taxes to supplement their generous ‘per head’ Barnett Formula payments from Westminster, but they are going to work out pretty quickly that a weak Miliband/Labour minority government in 2015, WILL BEND OVER BACKWARDS to both keep the SDP in the coalition and try and win back Scottish voters.

“The Barnett Formula Explained”
news.sky.com/story/1336911/the-barnett-formula-explained

“It's been used to distribute UK wealth across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for 35 years. Faisal Islam explains.”

“What is the Barnett formula?”

“It's a system of grants for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland that's based partly on which powers they have devolved to them, and partly on population.”

So voting for UKIP/Farage looking after themselves, will not only KEEP the UK in the EU and ruin our economic recovery, but show exactly THE £££ PRICE WE PAY when having weak, politically and economically volatile, self party interested coalitions, running the UK, as in Italy.*

In 2015 we will have close to a £100 billion annual budget deficit for WHOEVER is in power, so unless anyone in UKIP can tell how their 'change' will solve the budget deficit and other major problems we face from 2015 FOR THE BETTER, allowing back Miliband ENSURES at every level, our problems can only get worse.

Thank you Mr Farage. Not.

claig · 26/10/2014 13:19

But UKIP are going to contest at least 100 seats. Surely UKIP will hold the balance of power and UKIP want a referendum, don't the Tories want one?
What is stopping it? Would it be the modernisers?

"Ukip is targeting 100 seats at the next general election as the party seeks to capitalise on a surge in support.

Nigel Farage's party will be given a £1.5million cash injection from its largest donor, Paul Sykes, to widen its ambitions.

The announcement came as new polling revealed nearly a third of voters said they would back Ukip if they thought the party could win in their area.

A confident Mr Sykes told the Sunday Times: "Our finances are now rebuilding again after the European election victory but we will be raising significant further funds for a national campaign and a strong push to target marginal seats, probably nearer 100 than the 30-40 we originally identified.

"You're going to be able to see this campaign from the moon."

They did a poll on Mars and the Martians said they expected a landslide.

"Nearly a third of voters prepared to support Ukip

Observer/Opinium poll shows 31% of voters would back Nigel Farage’s party if they believed it could win in their constituency"

www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/oct/25/nearly-third-of-voters-prepared-to-support-ukip

It's going to be an absolute avalanche. Once people see what happens in Rochester and remember the good people of Clacton who started it all off, then there will be landslide after landslide.

You fail to understand what low esteem the majority of the public holds the establishment spinners in. People will trun to UKIP in droves. It will be a vote for freedom, a vote for common sense, a vote for people, not puppets.

It is going to be the Establishment's worst nightmare. They don't know what to do to stop it. They called the people "fruitcakes" but this has gone beyond a joke, this is a nightmare for the spinners. Their jobs and expenses are on the line. The people are in full revolt. The spin, the scams, the expenses will all be swept away.

OP posts:
itainthalfhotmum · 26/10/2014 14:09

Well lets hope UKIP can win and bring the country and its (sadly corrupted for now) democracy back to the people. Away from the vested interests of the 3 establishment parties and their hangers-on.

Keep fighting the good fight Claig and the rest. Were all counting on you!

Vote UKIP! Get UKIP!

claig · 26/10/2014 14:28

Thanks, itainthalfhotmum

UKIP and the people are going to win and end this corrupt system and return it to the people.

Isitmebut · 26/10/2014 15:11

In 2015 either Miliband or Cameron will form the next government, probably as a minority government and all the smoky back roomed ‘orse trading, non decisive policy problems. that will bring.

This country’s dire but improving finances, the fragility of our economic/jobs recovery, the state of Europe’s and the rest of the worlds slowing economies – will all be the problems for Miliband, Cameron, and god forbid either Farage or Russel Brand – most of whom bitch about everything, but have no solutions.

Clever people within the media and opportunist political parties talking about what ‘Westminster elites’ are doing to the middle and lower class ‘people’ financially (and via immigration) are deafening - BUT WHAT is the painless solution to an inherited £157 annual budget deficit and EU membership a Labour Party under Blair/Brown initially told us they’d hold, but didn’t on signing the Lisbon Treaty?

On immigration, the only immediate solution in 2010, was to bring back to at least the 1990 levels, the NON EU immigration levels, which the Conservatives in a Coalition pro EU/immigration partner, has done.

On the Budget Deficit & economy if soaking every rich person was the solution, e.g. the Labour raising of the 40% rate to 50% after 13-years in power, was the answer to addressing a £157 bil deficit, but what was forecast ro bring in just £6bil a year, ended up bringing in between £1 bil and £1 bil LESS, depending on the figures you see – but ‘the ‘rich’ are paying more under the Conservatives, than the last Labour government.

So WHERE ARE the UKIP or Brand ‘magic solutions???

The choice is either the Conservatives that rescued the economy in 1979, handed over the best growing economy in Europe in 1997, got a trashed one back in 2010 – and have produced the fastest growing economy in the G7.

Or on a vote UKIP get pro EU/immigration Labour needing just 31% of the vote, who thought NOTHING of deciding we need to be more multicultural and trashed the economy THAT GAVE OXYGEN to UKIP and far right parties across Europe e.g. Frances Front National.

“Labour wanted mass immigration to make UK more multicultural, says former adviser”
www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/6418456/Labour-wanted-mass-immigration-to-make-UK-more-multicultural-says-former-adviser.html

“Labour threw open Britain's borders to mass immigration to help socially engineer a "truly multicultural" country, a former Government adviser has revealed.”

P.S. Why did UKIP votes go down in the past 3-General Election decision days - because UKIP just bitch, they have no solutions e.g. deciding to INCREASE the budget deficit by £19 bil a year. on their last sey of promises, according to the IFS.

Isitmebut · 26/10/2014 15:16

Claig .... you are only winning Westminster seats as they are sitting defecting Conservatives the voters trust, the rest of your candidates ain't got a brain between them.

Itaint half hot ....UKIP have lied to voters for 20-years they can bring us out of Europe/sort out immigration - if getting 24 MEP seats on false pretenses isn't corrupt, I don't know what is, apart from Farages bragging of claiming £2 million in EU expenses by 2009.

claig · 26/10/2014 16:37

The people in Medway are just like the people in Clacton. Roll on the revolution.

"But the Ukip leader’s habitual ebullience appears to have been shifted into overdrive by the welcome he has received in the Medway towns. Walking at his side as he toured the streets, I’d expected him to be greeted, at least occasionally, with a salvo of abuse. Instead he was received – everywhere – with an enthusiasm verging on euphoria. Here in the pub, our conversation is interrupted every few minutes by admirers.
...
A woman approaches Farage, who is wearing his trademark blazer and tie. Heavily tattooed and in her late twenties, she doesn’t look like a natural Ukip supporter. She shakes his hand.

“How do you feel,” he asks, “about the other parties?”

“Wankers,” she replies.

Nigel Farage has a rare ability to communicate, both in formal debate, on television and in person. This extraordinary capacity to connect represents, I suggest, a kind of genius, and renders him, from his enemies’ perspective, a very dangerous animal indeed.

“I do believe,” Farage tells me, responding to that last phrase, “that other politicians perceive me in that way. Oddly enough David Blunkett said the very same thing to me, not long ago.”

Because you are hong to be very disappointed Shen the party only gets about 2 seats

"Instead he [Farage] was received – everywhere – with an enthusiasm verging on euphoria."

This shows the state our country is in and how desperate people are for change and how much they feel let down by our entire Oxbridge political class and their metropolitan media mates. It shows the level of hope and expectation they have in Farage to put things right.

There is so much wrong in the country and people want it put right.

OP posts:
claig · 26/10/2014 16:44

WetAugust, I think we may really be on the verge of a revolution

"Instead he [Farage] was received – everywhere – with an enthusiasm verging on euphoria."

The reason for that euphoria is that people have had enough and they hope that Farage will solve their problems. They don't trust the media or the spinners or the PPEs or the Oxbridge MPs any more. That is why they want Farage and UKIP. It's not Carswell they vote for, it is UKIP because that is their last hope that things will change.

OP posts:
claig · 26/10/2014 16:58

And Isitmebut still has faith in the modernisers and argues statistics and the deficit etc

But it is not about that any more and that is why the Tories will lose Rochester and many other places. People have gone past mere facts and figures, they are asking a much more fundamental question - who is on our side?

Just about everybody now realises that the metropolitan elite and all their mates - Labour, Tory, LibDem etc - are not on our side. That is what it is about now.

We want people like us who are on our side and the euphoria people display when they see Farage is because they think they have found someone on their side.

There is nothing the Tories can do about this. It is no use Dave banging a table and acting tough. We don't believe him. We are not stupid. We know who is on our side.

claig · 26/10/2014 17:01

She is not alone and Farage is on all those people's side too. It is amazing, but then not really when you realise how much these Oxbridge spinners have let the entire country down.
