The flight mh17 from Amsterdam to kuala lumpor with 295 people on board, it was a boing 777.
It was shot down with a buk ground to air missile.
They say there are no survivors.

It's awful.

'Do you stand by that rumour you published today about the jet fighters and the machine guns?'

I said I don't know how it happened The jet fighters and machine guns is what some people think. I don't know.

PigletJohn · 11/08/2015 21:01

But it is a rumour you are happy to circulate.

claig · 11/08/2015 21:07

No, I reported an article of interview with Ray McGovern, a former CIA employee, who said that his contacts in the CIA told him that the CIA was refusing to back the separatists did it theory.

"McGovern says on that program that sources he knows who are still at the CIA say that the agency has refused to back the US claim that separatists or Russia were behind the shoot-down of Flight 17."

PigletJohn · 11/08/2015 21:13

Are you saying that when you published

"Meanwhile, there are multiple claims .... Ukrainian attack fighters that were known to be tailing the Malaysian commercial jet shoot it down with machine gun fire and/or air-to-air missiles. .... holes that appeared caused by heavy 30 mm machine-gun fire ....could not have all been caused by the projectiles released by a BUK missile...."

is not a rumour, or that you did not circulate it, or that you think it was in an interview which you have seen?

claig · 11/08/2015 21:20

I said some people think that, but I don't know. But the point of that article was Ray McGovern, ex-CIA, saying that his sources in the CIA told him that the CIA was refusing to back the separatists did it theory.

PigletJohn · 11/08/2015 21:26

Wrong.

I am looking at your post

you didn't say "some people think" and the paragraph I have challenged you on is not part of the unsubstantiated McGovern story. It is a year-old rumour from some weird website that you chose to recirculate.

claig · 11/08/2015 21:30

'you didn't say "some people think"

I said that when you asked me if I believed it, I said I don't know how it happened.

I quoted a chunk out of that article to show that the CIA weren't on board. It seems to have hit a sore point.

claig · 11/08/2015 21:34

'weird website'

I beg your pardon, globalresearch founded by Canadian professor, Michel Chossudovsky, is one of the top political news sites on the planet. Read it and learn.

PigletJohn · 11/08/2015 21:50

So we agree that it is an unsubstantiated, year-old rumour which you chose to recirculate.

I have previously commented on some of the weird stories from that weird website.

claig · 11/08/2015 21:56

'So we agree that it is an unsubstantiated, year-old rumour which you chose to recirculate.'

I am not sure it is a rumour, it is what some analysts think. Does that make it a rumour?

'I have previously commented on some of the weird stories from that weird website.'

And your comments were weird.
