Yats is Yatsenyuk: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arseniy_Yatsenyuk

claig · 24/07/2014 20:05

Yats has resigned and the Communist Party with 2.5 million voters has been banned in the Ukrainian Parliament. Coalition has dissolved. There will be elections in a few months' time. Probably not a shock and wished for by Poroshenko to clear out some of the old opposition parties in new election.

Yes, Yats is Yatsenyuk. Yats is the name that Victoria Nuland of the tapped "F* the EU" phonecall uses for Yatsenyuk.

“The coalition has fallen apart, laws haven’t been voted on, soldiers can’t be paid, there’s no money to buy rifles, there’s no possibility to store up gas,” Yatsenyuk told lawmakers. “What options do we have now?”

'If the scene or flight recorders have been tampered'

Dutch investigators this morning said they have not been tampered with.

"Dutch lead investigators into the shooting down over Ukraine of flight MH17said on Wednesday that data from the cockpit voice recorder was intact and had not been tampered with.

"The cockpit voice recorder was damaged but the memory module was intact. Furthermore, no evidence or indications of manipulation of the cockpit voice recorder was found," the Dutch Safety Board (OVV) said as the black boxes were being analysed in Britain."

Thanks for clarifying - and I am pleased that the recorders have been left alone. That's something, at least.

DoctorTwo · 07/08/2014 08:52

Report from Global Research that got posted to my Facebook by my son. Don't know quite what to make of that tbh.

claig · 07/08/2014 09:56

Yes, I had read that a while back. The Russians have asked the Ukrainians to explain what the unidentified plane flyng near the Malaysian airliner was. I don't think an explanation has been given yet.

It all seems to have gone very quiet.

claig · 07/08/2014 10:01

Strange that our investigative media are not asking any questions about when evidence will be released and that they have not really analysed the Russian released evidence in any detail. No press conferences, just silence.

claig · 08/08/2014 21:53

"KUALA LUMPUR: INTELLIGENCE analysts in the United States had already concluded that Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by an air-to-air missile, and that the Ukrainian government had had something to do with it.

This corroborates an emerging theory postulated by local investigators that the Boeing 777-200 was crippled by an air-to-air missile and finished off with cannon fire from a fighter that had been shadowing it as it plummeted to earth.

In a damning report dated Aug 3, headlined “Flight 17 Shoot-Down Scenario Shifts”, Associated Press reporter Robert Parry said “some US intelligence sources had concluded that the rebels and Russia were likely not at fault and that it appears Ukrainian government forces were to blame”.

is that story carried by any of the major news organisations?

Apart from those controlled by the Russian government?

What is the attribution?

claig · 08/08/2014 22:40

That is a mainstream Malaysian newspaper. I doubt our investigative media would carry such a story - they are probably not allowed to.

All the mainstream conspiracy sites have been carrying what journalist Robert Parry has been saying for quite a while, and none of the mainstream media have mentioned it - they are not allowed.

"Robert Parry (born June 24, 1949) is an American investigative journalist best known for his role in covering the Iran-Contra affair for the Associated Press and Newsweek, including breaking the Psychological Operations in Guerrilla Warfare (CIA manual provided to the Nicaraguan contras) and the CIA and Contras cocaine trafficking in the US scandal in 1985. He was awarded the George Polk Award for National Reporting in 1984. He has been the editor of ConsortiumNews.com since 1995."

I'm not interested in conspiracy sites.

You can't expect our mainstream media to mention stuff like that. Remember that they were the ones who knew nothing about Jimmy Savile or Cyril Smith either.

'I'm not interested in conspiracy sites.'

Nor were the people who knighted Jimmy Savile and let him roam around Broadmoor in his shell suit issuing stupid catch phrases in some sort of official capacity.

claig · 08/08/2014 22:46

Maryz, they are not allowed. They don't ask the questions. They praised Savile and his "charidee" work.

'To me saying "mainstream newspapers aren't allowed to investigate and aren't allowed to ask questions" is just buying in to yet another conspiracy.'

I agree, because conspiracies exist. Savile is an example. They existed then and they exist now except we are not told about them. One day they will be revealed when all teh current participants are dead. Then the media will be allowed to report when the 100 year rule files are opened up.

that's interesting, claig

What date did you start alerting the public to rumours about Saville?

claig · 08/08/2014 22:55

We are edging toward war, we are eing led into it. Governments sometimes go to war on a lie, on a dodgy dossier or with cooked up evidence about "yellow cake" or "fruitcake" or whatever. They can't go to war if there is nothing to fight about, so sometimes they have to create stuff.

Many years later the truth comes out, but then maybe thousands of soldiers are dead and millions of civilians are dead, and the public says that was then, but it can't happen now.

claig · 08/08/2014 22:58

'What date did you start alerting the public to rumours about Saville?'

I didn't but conspiracy theorists did and the mainstream media said they were just talking about lizards.

PigletJohn · 09/08/2014 08:14

So how did you decide which conspiracy sites to believe?

claig · 09/08/2014 08:57

Years of experience combined with enormous erudition and the sagacity of Solomon himself. It takes a lifetime to see through the dross and the spin. I said from the beginning that the rebels and the Russians didn't do it while the Sun and Yats implied or claimed that they did.

Let's wait and see what the outcome of the investigations are.

claig · 09/08/2014 09:18

This is award winning investigative journalist, who does not work for the Sun, Robert Parry's full article.

"If the U.S. intelligence analysts are correct – that the rebels and Russia are likely not responsible – the chief remaining suspect would be the Ukrainian government, which does possess Buk anti-aircraft missiles and reportedly had two fighter jets in the vicinity of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 at the time of the shoot-down."

www.globalresearch.ca/flight-mh17-shoot-down-scenario-shifts/5394746

Just to show what type of journalist Robert Parry is, since journalist is also a term misused for employees of the Sun, here is more information on what Robert Parry did from wikipedia

"In August 1990 PBS' Frontline asked Parry to work on the October Surprise conspiracy theory ,[1] leading to Parry making several documentaries for the program,[6][7][8] broadcast in 1991 and 1992. He continued to pursue it after a Congressional investigation had concluded the story was untrue , turning his Frontline research into a book published in 1993,[9] and in 1994 he unearthed "a treasure-trove of government documents" supporting the theory,[6] "showing that the [Congressional] task force suppressed incriminating CIA testimony and excluded evidence of big-money links between wealthy Republicans and Carter's Iranian intermediary, Cyrus Hashemi".[3] In 1996 Salon.com wrote about his work on the theory, saying that "his continuing quest to unearth the facts of the alleged October Surprise has made him persona non grata among those who worship at the altar of conventional wisdom."[6]

When journalist Gary Webb published his newspaper series Dark Alliance in 1996 alleging that the Reagan administration had allowed the Contras to smuggle cocaine into the US to make money for their efforts, Parry supported Webb amidst heavy criticism from the media.[10]"

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Parry_(journalist)

I didn't realise that Robert Parry had anything to do with Gary Webb, who is a person whose "suicide" is a well-known topic among advanced conspiracy theorists.
