This is incredibly intense legal argument now. I'm not able to keep up typing. I'm focussing on listening.

WildThong · 11/09/2014 11:24

Thanks

So, in laymens terms, she's saying it isn't proven that he meant to kill? Is that right?

Surely he has to serve time?! If only for the unlawful discharge in the restaurant his own defence Said he was guilty of.
Thanks for updating people Smile Thanks I can't have the trial on children everywhere and I don't want my 6 year old watching.

AGnu · 11/09/2014 11:36

How could he have known that firing 4 shots into a confined space could've killed someone?! Seriously?!

HenriettaTurkey · 11/09/2014 11:37

Mama, me too: we are watching Sarah & Duck. Much more heartwarming.

LookingThroughTheFog · 11/09/2014 11:38

Yep. I'm struggling with that too, AGnu. It's tricky, I have always said I trust her, but I am baffled as to how he could possibly have not known that he was likely to kill someone by shooting them four times with extremely destructive bullets.

member · 11/09/2014 11:41

Culpable homicide has no minimum term dictated so depending on mitigating factors.

Disagree he couldn't have forseen the consequences - he knew that if he fired a warning shot in the(bigger) bathroom that the ricochet could hit him. that being the case, why the need for four shots fired into an enclosed, smaller space if only to warn/injure?

AmIthatHot · 11/09/2014 11:42

Marking place as at work and can't listen-watch.

Frankie. What's wrong with his crying?

member · 11/09/2014 11:45

Ha! maybe State should appeal!?
