here is Part 5 but we are ready (nearly) for a new one.

OP posts:
YNK · 08/05/2014 10:30

Louise the experts did not make that statement at all.
I think you are speculating that they did!

YNK · 08/05/2014 10:32

Rousette Nel doesn't need to do anything with it, it's already on court record and is not being disputed by Roux.

LookingThroughTheFog · 08/05/2014 10:32

FFS I was asked to speculate.

Yes, I grant you, you were asked to speculate, and you did indeed mark it as speculation. Fair enough.

However, your opinion was; 'I think they would have helped clean up the evidence and get the body away from the scene (to hospital) leaving Aimee to finish cleaning up.'

Your opinion, your speculation, was that they would have behaved criminally. You have come to this opinion, having listened to them in court for four hours. Which is fine, I suppose.

I'm not going to argue about this with you. It's irrelevant. I still find it unfair that you term people who either believe that the intruder story is plausible or even probably, or who merely don't think the state have proven the case, as being in the 'Oscar's a poor innocent' brigade.

Fine, if you want to do that, but I think you need to accept that you're firmly in the 'Oscar is EVIL!!!' brigade, and accept that your posts may be discounted as being incredibly biased.

LookingThroughTheFog · 08/05/2014 10:36

Thanks so much for the BBC feed, Springing! I find that one much more stable than the others.

AnyaKnowIt · 08/05/2014 10:36

Was hoping to watch it on the telly, enca are covering their election blloody rude if you ask me

YNK · 08/05/2014 10:36

Correct looking - I have been more than honest about this and suggested myself that people scroll past if they are already convinced of OP's innocence.

YNK · 08/05/2014 10:37

Go to sky news and press the red button or the telegraph has live coverage without the satellite delay.

LouiseBrooks · 08/05/2014 10:39

"Louise the experts did not make that statement at all.
I think you are speculating that they did!"

YNK Unlike some people I rarely speculate.

I distinctly remember the state expert (Vermuelen?) seeming to agree that OP was on his stumps and as I said above I'm not the only one on here. I'm at work and don't want to get the sack but I will see if I can find it.

Springing · 08/05/2014 10:41

You're welcome Looking! Smile

LookingThroughTheFog · 08/05/2014 10:41

if they are already convinced of OP's innocence.

Yes. And they should if they don't want to hear from someone who is already convinced of Oscar's guilt too.

sleepysleepy · 08/05/2014 10:43

Well, if it's agreed that he was on his stumps at the point of shooting, that's bloody weird to me in a DV situation which was so threatening that reeva had to lock herself away.

Of course, the whole thing is weird. But I would imagine you'd want the physical presence and dominance of being at your full height in an argument of the sort being speculated upon.

StackALee · 08/05/2014 10:46

Wow - I wonder if she will dismiss the witness...

member · 08/05/2014 10:47

Shock at the defence

LookingThroughTheFog · 08/05/2014 10:49

I wonder if she will dismiss the witness...

Nel agrees.

LouiseBrooks · 08/05/2014 10:49

Judge: I think it is relevant to the charges.

Interesting

Hillwalker · 08/05/2014 10:49

Now we have yet another witness confirming that OP was upset after the event. Is this all the defence have got? You can kill someone with intent and still regret it afterwards.

StackALee · 08/05/2014 10:50

"Where is this coming from that OP didn't call an ambulance

The States evidence is that Netcare was his second call"

what time was this call made?

member · 08/05/2014 10:50

And now she's resumed she's left out the "he loved Reeva" Hmm

OneStepCloser · 08/05/2014 10:52

What's happened, missed it! Who might be dismissed? I'm not keeping up very well.

Chipstick10 · 08/05/2014 10:52

Yes seconded who might be dismissed and why?

LouiseBrooks · 08/05/2014 10:53

The States evidence is that Netcare was his second call"

what time was this call made?

Stack I believe at 3.20. Straight after he rang the Standers.

LouiseBrooks · 08/05/2014 10:54

Who might be dismissed?

Social Worker who had to do a report on OP weekly

LookingThroughTheFog · 08/05/2014 10:55

The probation officer. She started, and then came out with 'he loved Reeva'.

Nel instantly objected, something to do with a contradiction, something about it being about his emotions.

Judge allowed to proceed. Nel is fine as long as they stick to what she saw, not what he felt (as far as I can tell).

(I'm about a minute behind you lot though - I needed to pause for toast.)

Hillwalker · 08/05/2014 10:56

Sorry. It was me who said OP didn't call an ambulance. He did call Netcare but claims they told him to take Reeva to hospital in his car. There is no record of what was said in the call. So no ambulance was sent.

Hillwalker · 08/05/2014 10:57

Again, is this witness not just repeating things that OP has said?
