I liked the Mail's sketch. I'm not going to link to it, not because I hate the Mail but because I cba to look it up, about the first day and the description of the crowded dock. It's by a man called Robert Hardman and there's a nice actual sketch by a courtroom artist.
I particularly liked the detail that they all have to sit in the order they appear on the charge sheet for the duration. I've been a court reporter and it's very funny when that happens.
So apparently Crystal Tipps isn't sitting next to her mental dwarf spouse Charlie but is sandwiched between Andy Coulson and NotW head of news Ian Edmondson.
Imagine spending every day of the next six months between people, who if the worst happens, are going to say: 'Yeah, but we only did it because she was our ultimate boss.'
I also liked the description of Charlie tapping notes into his laptop - probably with one finger and his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth.
I feel sorriest for Crystal's PA Cheryl, whose salary, though no doubt good, would have been way, way below everyone else's.
I'm sure all the others had PAs. WTF did Cheryl do to warrant her appearance when no other PA is there?
Maybe she'll turn out to be a deeply charismatic mastermind who cast a spell over her boss. I'm sure it's something the woman-heavy jury will ponder.
