Anyone in Hackney? How is it looking there?

I moved from Clapton sq to the other end of the country a few weeks ago. Am shocked at what I am seeing on the TV, so many lovely friends in E5, hope they are all safe.

why the hell are 10 year olds looting shops, where are their parents. probably ripping plasmas off the shelves.

Send in the dogs, army and armed police i say. No one i knows has any sympathy for them, There setting shops ablaze with flats above them, they dont care if people are in them.

DeWe haven't heard anything specific about se23 - it's likely the idiots from around there travelled to croydon/peckham/lewisham to kick off instead....

DH just had to take DS1 to the hospital in Hackney as he's been really badly bitten by a cat. Hope they get out soon. Don't fancy them walking home late this evening from the A and E...

At least you can take consolation from the fact that Homerton staff deal with twats every saturday and friday night....a safe place to be!
