Enfield riots?

Just seen on Twitter and in a few articles like this, that there are meant to be plans for a riot in Enfield tonight and riot police are in the town centre?

Used to live there, and got family there (luckily a fair distance from the centre), but fucking hell! What the hell is going on?

A few tweets mentioning looting at Friern barnet retail park also, not sure whether to believe that yet.

Those look like residential areas with the cars.

DH just called his uncle, he's had a few people legging it down his road (round the back of tescos) but otherwise it's been fairly quiet.

Summer.... its a random thing but very true. Gang violence is always worse in summer too cos of school hols.... its just disgraceful out there again tonight :(
