Julian Assange, wikileaks and these rape claims

I have just read the basis of the two rape claims against him.

How is it possible to issue a warrant for rape charges against him? Even going by the womens statements it isn't rape, there is no 'non-consensual' sex.

Am I missing something here or does it stink to high heaven?

Have a look here

You are holding Sarah Palin up as the voice of reason and all I am saying is maybe you should look for a better role model. I can't find the article I read about her on the campaign trail for the Tea Party but her attitude and behaviour was truly horrific. She is not someone you want to champion in an anti-rape cause.

There is no allegation of rape in the Swedish warrant.

SP said that JA should be hunted down like Bin Laden. She also said that the USA should stick by their alley North Korea. Both statements are truly bizzare.

The two women have not accused JA of rape.

I would add that there are far more men who are in positions of power and have other men to support them. There are very few women in positions of power. Of course that is wrong but to say that SP is someone who should be listened to on any point is frankly ridiculous.

I would take a close look at the company SP keeps and the speeches she makes.

My original comment re SP was in reply to Xenia's.

If you are a supporter of SP then good luck to you. She is a rather unpleasant and ignorant bigot, especially towards those who work for her.

Here is some detail of the actual alleged charges.

US foreign policy? What, invading Afghanistan and Iraq, and murdering hundreds of thousands of women and children - htf does that "end violence against women"?
