I think ecstasy can be very harmful to one's mental health, as it can interfere with serotonin production. Some experts think we could see a depression epidemic in the future caused by widespread E use. Speaking as someone who has suffered with depression, I would not touch it any longer.

Of the millions that take ecstacy, only a tiny minority will die. Well that is a minority too much in my opinion, especially if they are parents. But you forget the others who are hospitalised after a bad trip, or are up all night vomiting and are unable to see to the children the next morning. These aren't in the news but believe me there are plenty of them. Accidental overdoses don't always lead to death either, but they will hospitalise someone, and who takes care of the kids whilst mummy or daddy is having their stomach pumped.

Same with alcohol, if you have responsibilities then you should put those responsibilities first and foremost, not your own selfish needs.

You could die driving the car around the corner to the shops..... its selfish of you to use the car when you don't have to and you could choose to walk.
