Shred is good. I don't do the cardio sections at high impact, even though mean Gillian tells me to, just do low-impact versions, and built up from there. I'm now jumping the third lot of cardio for instance, and can put a lot more effort in to all the sections.

One of the great things, is that it's 20 mins so doesn't take too long, DS doesn't get too annoyed while I do it (Peppa Pig DVD on in the other room helps) and it doesn't feel so daunting.

I am quite obese and I'm managing it and starting to feel fitter.

I am SUCH an idiot! Just went to get dd from preschool a full hour early! Read my clock as 11.50 so set off, then though hang on why are all the children outside playing? Sneaked a look at a woman's watch as she walked past me and it was clearly only 10 to 11 Still, at least I didn't actually go in to preschool and embarrass myself! Am starving though so it being lunchtime seemed right!

Rainbow - sympathies on the broken sleep, we had DS awake and howling for a while in the night. He was sleeping through so well a few weeks ago!

Wasting that's interesting. I'm doing EA Active Sport on the Wii at the moment and it's definitely having an impact, I'm much fitter but it takes about 35-40 minutes which is too long to do easily while DS is awake - doing it just now was a nightmare, he was trying to crawl through my legs and climb on the balance board . May get the Shred DVD and give it a go!

HMHB - that is true about the milk. We do often get it sprinkled over the sofas though, v.annoying!

Haven't heard yet about the job, DH has had more phonecalls with various people at this company and there is much to-ing and fro-ing with the recruitment agency. Not sure if we will know today now, argh I hate this bit. If it is a 'no' I want to know now!

thought I might join you ladies as my to do lists are not being done. I've recently gone back to work after being a SAHM and have lost my ability to juggle. So tomorrow's day off is going to see me achieve less than I hope, maybe seeing it on the screen will help.

I am doing such a good impression of a headless chicken right now!! We go on holiday on Saturday and I have so much to do- have finally made a list so things ARE getting done now! So here we go:

Clean bathrooms (delegated family bathroom to teens to clean!)
Finish laundry- of course its started raining now so will have to use t/drier.
Layout clothes to pack.
Pack for me and YS.
Dig up some more spuds in garden and pick lettuce and peas.

Hello Claire, dive on in! The thought of being back at work and having to juggle children and school runs and housework and shopping and work and everything else fills me with fear. I will watch your lists keenly because I will be doing it next year!

NEWSFLASH

I have done the ironing! And put it all away!

DS was having massive tantrums this afternoon due to being tired, ended up having dinner at 4 and them in the bath by 5! Then downstairs in pjs and he fell asleep on the sofa at 5.45 whilst I was ironing. Hopefully can transfer him to bed without him waking and that will be him for the night.

Blimey Freakoid - Good luck with getting DS to stay asleep. Hope he is not up at 5.45am!
