CC and JKS I tend to dread the holidays as we approach them, then love not have to rush in the morning and no homework time, then when the holidays are nearly over I feel and will be doubly this year because DD1 is starting full time school.

Ali any idea why your DS was unsettled?? My DS3 woke a couple of times in the night because he had become too hot.

Alice What is it with men and keys? My DH is forever losing his and then finding them where he had put them. A rest day is a great idea, it's not long to the big day and you need to conserve your energy. (ooh!! I sound like a mother hen)

Have been on a roll with the housework, but now I have sat in front of the computer I have lost my mojo!!

I've been too hot at night, just a sheet and lots of windows open but still waking up flustered.
And i do love summer really but love sleep more!

Me too JKS, best thing about being single in this weather is being able to move over onto the cool side of the bed at night though

Rainbow it's always the way, do really well then computer sucks it all out of me. Is why I try not to log on til I've done the basics.

DS has fallen asleep so have a bit longer to plan meals/shopping list, just can't think!

Had to laugh at that Freak. I discovered that last night. It's great!

IPOM if you call IS again say to them that you are on a mobile and need someone to call you back, it's what I did. or fill in forms online and then they automatically call you within 48 hours I think (it's a 45min-1hr call so definitely don't use your credit!)

I have walked about like a zombie today dd1 & I didn't get home until 11 last night and I have't to be done earlier tomorrow night as I have promised to put some buns in for other dcs in her class,
feel abit today last night all the little ones were doing the same dances dd1 did when she started seems like yesterday, then today when we went to school her class had moved into the bigger classroom for P6, she growing up so fast,
she looks soo grown up in one of her costumes

BUT only 2 days of school left YEY,
need to get wedding cake finished and plan our summer,
going to start fixing up caravan to go away even for a night here and there!

Alice My friend is due about the same time as you seen her last night in a lovely Maxi dress, she was blooming, thought of you, remember you are supposed to be relaxing!!

Alice - everyone, what is it with men and the radio in the morning. Mine is just the same, as soon as he surfaces and in the bathroom, regardless of other peoples state so -GRRR too.

plum they do grow so quick!! My DS1 is fast turning into a young man, he'll be 14 this year and is nearly as tall as me and I'm 5ft 8in. I'm 31 and keep thinking I'm too young to have a teenager, I still think I'm a teenager at times, which DS1 thinks is very embarrassing

I've got a few more things done , so am having some computer time before I make a late lunch, DS3 is napping but needs to be woken as he has been in his cot since 11.15.

Thank you for birthday greetings everyone.
Day not going as well as I would have liked. DH is suffering from the heat, has had his appointment with consultant which has pin pointed an area of brain malfunction. on the good side he does not have alzheimers and its not his memory, and he's quite bright in top 5% IQ bracket. But whatevers going on may not be fixable, so he has to find strategies for managing. We have lost a bit of work that we were expecting to get, and I have a difficult meeting to prep for tomorrow.
My get up and go has buggered off.

Mini Happy Birthday! for DH and all the rest of it. My get up and go is out sunbathing, I am not.

I had to read DS 6 books before he could be persuaded to lie down for a nap. He was outside carefully watering the patio for me and didn't appreciate being interupted
