Happy birthday to baby Baba, 2. God I wish I were 2.
Can't get my head round list at all. Started off reasonably well but had accounting woman here and it does my head in. So have gone a bit gaga. ( well a bit more than usual, and not in a Lady Gaga kind of way),
Enjoy razorlight Alice. Fingers crossed for labour starting, I suppose you could pretend while in laws are with you then you might get rid earlier.
I'm am getting very bored of the moths now but there were 2 more yesterday and I found 4 cocoons, all in places I have scanned and cleaned many times. GRRR

Am off to go and weed and talk to the flowers. have a good weekend everyone

JustKeepSwimming · 23/07/2010 16:22

Hi, well nothing dramatic in my notes, though DS2's placenta appears to have been pretty crap. Can't help but wonder if there could be a link between his quality of supply and his brain development....

Oh and I was told at his c-s that i lost lots of blood, it says 1300ml and 'early PPH' does that sound bad to you?

That is quite a bit. I love 800ml I think. Not sure what PPH is, post-partum heamorrhage? Best to ask in 'Childbirth' I reckon, lots of midwives.

  • feed birds done
  • water plants rained
  • tidy garden toys up a bit done
  • hang out washing done
+ harvested radishes done they are crap!
  • put nappies in
  • tea
JustKeepSwimming · 23/07/2010 16:36

Yes it is post-partum hemorrhage, may go through the notes again over the weekend and see if i have any other questions for MN

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 16:40

Agree with wasting sounds like it means post partum heamorrhage, I did wonder about a link to ds when you mentioned the EMCS the other day, just because they always ask when dd is in hospital about what type of birth she had although how that would link to arthritis I don't know so maybe ignore me

I'm all fuzzy as I went for my sleep and thinkit was too deep for this time of day iykwim

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 16:50

just been told my nannie rang the police in the middle of the night said there was someone in her flat

There was no one in her flat, she has been like this the last couple of years but.... this seems worse, she rang the police before she moved but we put that down to an old memory being triggered of a time she did ring the police, iykwim

feel guilty as I have been caught up in my own world lately and she lives further away, so haven't seen her in weeks upon weeks, I was just talking to my cousin a couple of days ago who she now lives beside and she was accusing her of stealing her tablets and I was saying I would be down soon, will have to make it sooner

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 17:09

JKS - that's quite a lot of blood I think. I lost about 700ml and my parents (both Drs) were really worried about me.

Plum Your poor nannie, it's so hard to see them decline.

Right the dinner is in the oven, next task is birthday cake. I have shouted at DH a bit, he has suddenly started doing loads of random jobs that could easily wait until another day.

OP posts:
minimammoth · 23/07/2010 17:41

Wasting you made me laugh at took you 2hrs to do 15 mins. Felt a bit like that myself today, haven't made it to garden dd DH's admin instead. Wish I hadn't as its put me in a bad mood.
Plum sorry to here about your Nannie, I asume she lives alone? it a worry.

minimammoth · 23/07/2010 17:52

Sorry for being incoherent rubbish typer.

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 21:53

Mini she lives in a fold, I think in England its like sheltered accomadation, she has been living there for 2 years now,
she moved from her home she had been living in for 50 years and she coped brilliant, she had started to tell me then about seeing people and people moving her stuff, when she moved she seemed alot better but now we are back to square 1!
She'll be 85 this year, not a grey hair on her head actually she dyes it peroxide yellow

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 23:59

Plum - my grandma is 86 this year, she has very little grey but she uses henna on her hair too and so it's still the colour it was when she was about 30! She is amazing, and still living in her own home with quite a bit of support from my aunt, but she is starting to get very forgetful and confused and we don't know how much longer things can stay as they are. It is v.hard.

We have done loads today, and managed lots of quality playtime with DS so feeling good. Am v.tired though, need to start going to bed earlier.

Morning

It is so hard when people who have looked after you need looking after. My Grandma is the person i am closeset to in my family and i still phone her about twice a week and for any advice. She is late 60's and very active, but the thought that she may one day not be this amazing capable person scares me.

Razorlight were amazing. I wanted to be down with the crowd dancing though

I told the baby it needs to come today, but nothing happening. My friend is up this morning though, so hopefully get to see her, then meeting my dad at the yard as he is going to help me with fencing. My friend suggested pretending that i was in early labour to the inlaws and leaving them downstairs with DD while i went upstairs for a nap
