Sympathies to those with preschoolers/babies - makes any household job like wading through treacle. Mine are all school age. I still don't get much done though!

research heavy duty shelves - Started

empty shed entirely
sweep out/scare off spiders (eek)
throw out rubbish
get pile of old chairs looked at & maybe repaired (otherwise throw out)
sort paint pots (only keep needed ones with anything useful left in)
list of colours used in house (mostly off white anyway)
fill shelves in an orderly way, lol
put everything else back in

Right have survived putting kidstobed and feedingandbathingkids etc.

Lizzylou on the Shiney thread contacted Alice's DH on FB and he's replied,

Thanks for the message Lizzy. Alice has been in hospital since yesterday afternoon because of premature contractions. Luckily she doesn't seem to be going in to labour, but she is being given the steroid injections to mature the baby just in case. We are expecting her home tomorrow morning all being well. I'm glad she'll have plenty of Mumsnet and Facebook to catch up on - should keep her on the sofa with her feet up for a while!

So when she's back we need to make sure her list says

Sounds like it's stopped and the injections are just for luck.

I was starting a migraine, but think I've stopped it with my quick-witted use of fig rolls, and I think DS is finally settling.

I managed to put away my washing straight off the line AND clean the bathroom AND mop the floors without even having a list today As well as normal stuff, supermarket, toddler group etc...

I have had a crap day today - not house-wise because everything is clean and tidy - but I have been shouty, weepy and horrible. I really think AF is on her way because I don't remember feeling like this when I was pregnant with DS - well maybe a bit towards the end

I'm feeling bleugh from dealing with a monumental tantrum from DD(5) last night, which included her lashing out at me in fury. She was overtired and I put her to bed early. She was sweetness and light this morning as if nothing had happened but I'm still feeling the aftershock. Need to get on and do stuff.
