Go mini, go mini, go mini

Well done on speaking to preschool JKS. DD has a bit of a "don't like boys" mentality since starting preschool but still plays with them and preschool seem quite good about encouraging equality.

Not got a lot done today, been at toddlers and in garden

minimammoth · 22/06/2010 15:13

Stands arma akimbo.
RIGHT
books, cds and videos all over the floor.
have heaved the book cases away from walls.
It slike a scene from alien behind there. little pods all over the place.
Starts to channel Rippley. And OMG the carpet has completely disintegrated in huge patches on hoovering.
Am off to get Mega death powder. and large sub machine gun....Hasta la vista slatterns....

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 15:30

When should we send in a search party?

Not done a lot today, think my iron is low again so feel a bit rubbish.

Had got DD to bed with some milk (needs a bit of bribery to get her to have one ) Left her gate open as she created if i shut it, but as stayed in bed i thought it was fine.

Came down, put another washload on, emptied and reloaded the dishy, sat down and little footseps ccan be heard coming down the stairs. "Not having a nap mummy"

I was going to update my list then put some toys away, then try out my new handheld hoover, but seems a bit pointless now.....

Also had some houmous and carrots for a snack today and my spatone. Just a rubbish weekend foodwise, and a bump growth spurt!

Alice your lists are looking very organised lately, is that 'about to have a baby syndrome'?

Glad you survived Mini

yay for ds2 JKS

About to go to supermarket, has been too hot to walk down there so far (I have period and a cold so am feeling heat more than usual-it's not actually tropical weather!). DS hasn't napped though so is bound to sleep on way there and not go to bed tonight...bugger. hmm maybe feed him, bath him and put him in pjs first? Although then it might be getting a bit late to expect DD to walk there and back

DONE
All up etc
washing up
sides& table
load of washing on
load of washing out
hoover downstairs
clean loo
toddler group
shop for milk
wc here to clean windows (made him a cuppa and a bacon sarnie, aren't I nice? )
er....lie in garden...

Still to do
supermarket
dinner
washing up
tidy
bath and bed dc
ironing

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 22/06/2010 17:04

Phew it is too hot to be jumping round my living room. My face looks like this but with hotness rather than blushing.

Wasting - I have got EA Active Sports for my Wii and I'm doing the 30-day challenge. On day 10 and workout 6 so far. It is knackering but it's working, the scales aren't moving much (still 11 pounds down) but it's been AF this week, but I've lost 5.5 inches from round my middle in 4 weeks now which I'm v.v.happy with.

Mini well done, sounds a hideous task and the kind of thing I would have left up to DH

I have no idea what we are having for tea, need to go and make a plan.

JustKeepSwimming · 22/06/2010 18:29

Well done Mini!!

Ali - not so much goals but things he needs to get back on track as he's behind in most things.
Though his Gross Motor skills are back on track as of a couple of weeks ago
Now he seems to be working on his Fine Motor ones.
Personal/Social next then Speech/Communication

Wasting x-posts. I am actually enjoying the exercise now, it's really bizarre. I think it takes a few goes before the endorphins start to do anything but I am definitely getting that 'buzz' now.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 22/06/2010 20:43

ok what is going on mother!?

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 20:50

It so makes me laugh at the thought of my mother on a slatterns thread. She is more of a Kim and Aggie candidate. Although you know my sister is on here sometimes. She is quite normal

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 22/06/2010 21:06

I don't look at the thread for a few days and it's moth madness!

Been fairly mad here while DH was away last week so we're just catching up. Also we extracted honey on Sunday which stirred up the bees again so they are feisty!

Alice - if we had a kim and aggie type it might help us improve our slatternly ways?? .

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 21:20

I meant a K&A candidate!

minimammoth · 22/06/2010 21:52

I have just finished putting all the books back and hoovered up again. I think I am getting paranoid about the little buggers, head on a swivel, looking for any signs.
Am pleased with my work though, shelves now all clean and tidy, I even found a box for all the various leads, headphones, chargers etc.
have a big pile of books for the charity shop, and have warned DH that old videos are not allowed on shelves.

i am just not sure what we can do to prevent them coming back, (if I have managed to banish them) perhaps K&A might know.
Having a bit of a fret.Feel as if the damn things are in my hair. Bloody countryside.
I don't mean that really.
Glad for your DS JKS.
good you got the honey in HMHB save me a jar.

Ipom · 22/06/2010 22:53

Hi Girls,

Today I went to cut the grass.....

and the sodding mower dies.

No mower, no strimmer - no gardening.

Did 2 loads of washing today
Cleaned living room
cleaned sofas
cleaned THE BOY'S room
Cleaned my room
did dinner
hoovered hallway
swept outside

tomorrow, i need to sort out the cellar, get all garden stuff to one side and toys on the other. Sweep it out as best I can as there is a lot of stones and broken glass in there.

Thursday, shopping for food, start cleanout of shed.

Friday, finish shed and clean out cupboard under stairs. Put tools in clean shed and put cleaning stuff in cupboard.

Really missing The Sparks today, but he did call but because where he is working they have no reception so have to go to the nearest village to call anyone. Next call will be on Friday. He's really pissed off as no-one said the job was on shifts and because of that 6 people have walked off, leaving the rest of them with more work. There has never been a day when we havent spoken to each other in 11 years so this is hard. He is trying to make the best of it, but hates working away. Still, only 8 more days.

Alicetheinvisible · 23/06/2010 07:56

Morning

Ipom The Sparks? Is that DH? I kind of imagine him as The Stig now

Lots to do

Friend coming over after playgroup, house is (as usual) a mess.

Before 9.30 i need to;

Finish breakfast
Make beds
Take clean washing upstairs (and deposit on beds)
Hang washing out
Put more washing on
Tidy kitchen
Wipe sides down
Clean hob
Sweep hall
Sweep kitchen
Tidy sitting room (most toys put away last night so not too bad)
Put clean throws on sofas
Get dressed
Get DD dressed
Pick up all accumulated crap from around the house

JustKeepSwimming · 23/06/2010 08:40
