Have hysterical ds because I told him off for deliberately putting handprints on all the windows after I told him not to touch them because I'd cleaned them this morning. Am sure he is putting on his distress but he is quite convincing.

DONE
All up etc
dd's lunch made
Load of washing in
DD to preschool
Washing up
washing out on line
Sides and table wiped
Load of towels in
Inside windows and mirrors cleaned
Dinner out of freezer
Load of towels out on line
hoover downstairs
hoover upstairs
mop downstairs
clean loo
clean bathroom
Supermarket
washing in off line (rain)
Lunch

Now to get the handprints off the windows again (why am I even bothering??)

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/06/2010 13:08

Blimey alice that sounds awkward-no oven, no car and no loo + pregnant lady who isn't supposed to do much

JKS I felt naked the first few times I wore leggings but am now used to them

Alicetheinvisible · 07/06/2010 13:40

Oven is fixed damn but at least i can bake some cakes (hmmm, or scones)

I want to get some leggings, but all the ones i have seen are either ridiculously expensive or very cheap feeling/see through, doesn't seem to be any inbetween

JustKeepSwimming · 07/06/2010 14:02

Lol Freak - it is a bit like that!

Alice - yey for oven, I've got jeggings from Next & black leggings from New Look, haven't worn & washed either yet though so can't fully recommend them yet.

Oh and whilst changing light bulbs i saw how bad the cobwebs were so did the kitchen, now need to do everywhere else!

Alicetheinvisible · 07/06/2010 14:07

Keep me informed JKS

Oh, and i was wondering if there was a special prize for being the most slatternly as after i mopped my floor earlier i did think that actually it was the first time i had done it in a long time, possibly 2 months (it has been hoovered occasionally though)

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/06/2010 14:14

Alice Does that mean you hadn't done it since we both had it on our lists for weeks? Impressive work!

Alicetheinvisible · 07/06/2010 14:16

erm

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/06/2010 14:17

Oh and my leggings are supermarket ones tesco's are a little bit thin feeling, asda thicker but faded a bit in wash and sainsbury's are good quality but a little bit shorter in the leg. DD's birthday I was wearing the tesco ones, don't think they were see through...

comewhinewithme · 07/06/2010 14:19

Alice two months is quite impressive I pay the dc to go over mine with babywipes at least it looks shiny.

FO - I am sure he will be putting the hysterics on they have millions of ways to make you feel guilty .

I love my leggings. I think they are good for slatterns it is almost like walking round in PJ's all day.

I have some nice ones from F&F at Tesco very comfy.

Hang washing out RAINING
Put a load in machine done
Dress and wash L DONE
Do dd4's hair done
clean living room 8done*
Kitchen surfaces done
Clean and mop loo done

Dinner done
School run

Alicetheinvisible · 07/06/2010 14:24

Might pop into Sainsbury's if i go to see family this week (i am only short in the leg myself!)

In my defence, DD and the cat were just constantly traipsing mud in and out so each day i would think "Must do the floor today" then by the time i had got DD dressed, breakfast etc and she was either outside or it was peeing it down (i open the door to make it dry quicker) it is lovely and shiney now though, and it feels nice too

JustKeepSwimming · 07/06/2010 14:38

I mostly just mini-hoover around where the boys have dropped stuff and it gets mopped once a week apart from that. cba with much more

Right best get DS2 up to go out.

Kitchen floor mopping goes on my list every week, I think it probably gets done about once a fortnight! I do wipe up spills/blobs with a cleaning wipe inbetween, and it gets hoovered or swept most days.

Alice I'm glad you're oven is fixed, you may not be able to pee but at least you can make nice things to eat

CWWM I agree leggings are very comfy, another mum said something about me making an effort with clothes even when just at home and I said well actually wearing leggings and a tunic is more comfy than jeans.

Not sure how often I mop my floor, probably a few days after it looks bad

wc managed to find time for both me and his nan today dc went mad when they saw him, proper hyper and ds insisted on giving him a kiss on the mouth (and then told me I had to). BUT it is official I no longer fancy him, I think he is lovely and objectively good looking but seeing him as anything more than a friend is just weird now.

Everyone seems to be doing well today, lots of dones on lists

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 07/06/2010 18:05

well done freakoid. a nice healthy crush is good once in a while. Bless your DD though.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 07/06/2010 18:24

Yeah with the leggings JKS.
I've got some really good ones from River Island (charcoal grey) although I fear I may have got nail varnish on them when I was on my way to wedding and thought it was a good idea to paint nails whilst DH was driving .
