Plum - your DD1 does sound trendy, wish i was but i'm not at all. Liking one of my new tops that i had to change into (lol), though it is lower at the front than i'm used to, maybe i should have a vest top on underneath? or relax about showing a bit of bra now and then?!

PLEASE can someone stand by with a sash and crown and organise a fanfare. I HAVE DONE SOME IRONING. This never happens in our house and only now out of desparation 'cos of linen skirt and frock. bows and waves to slatterns in queenly manner. ( though of course queen prob never does ironing).
Been a nice weather day here today, and not too hot. Frogs are looking happy in pond, took photos for DGS.
Managed to plant various things in places or pots to make space. It now looks nice and tidy when you step outside.
Put all cracked broken pots etc into bag to take to dumpit.
Washing now almost up to date despite washer.
Going across the road to 'Indian' buffet tonight, so no cooking.
Happy holidays to Wasting and Freaki.

well done minimammoth

The plan is to go to toddler groups in the morning, then to friends in the afternoons. The bathroom fitters are ripping out the bathroom tomorrow so will have no loo at all during the day, then laying the floor then doing wall pannelling (i believe) then will have a loo before they leave tomorrow afternoon. What doesn't help is my car is going into the garage tomorrow too, so relying on DH, and walking (which i'm not allowed to do too much of) logistical nightmare!

Anyway...

Wasting have a great holiday!

DONE
Get Dishy emptied
Put wasload on
Reload dishy
Find something to keep DD occupied (cbeebies - naturally )
Sweep and mop kitchen floor
DH popped back and moved some stuff out of the conservatory for me too, so that has made a huge difference to how it looks.

TO DO
(before 11am - oven engineer coming)
Just waiting for floor to dry...
Clear kitchen sides
Wipe down kitchen

I feel i have achieved so much by getting the floor cleared, swept and mopped. It has cheered me up a bit despite feeling knackered!
