JKS, yep, the last bag was dated May 10, so I guess it was stale and the gluten not working or something.
That's the problem with bulk-buying and then not using stuff up promptly!

Well, I've been MNing for ages now, and should get something done before DS arises.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/06/2010 17:32

Hooray for bread!

I too would be crap at low carbing, i love bread products!

Have realised I go on hol next week and so have to abandon my vision of being slender and toned for it. WHY didn't I stick to the exercise???? Feel all flabby and unattractive.

Have had salad for dinner two nights running though; caesar with chicken and bacon yesterday (very healthy ) and tonight I made one with butternut, beetroot, chickpeas, pinenuts, feta and baby leaves. Followed by a twister

JustKeepSwimming · 03/06/2010 18:05

Freak - i love Twisters!! at least i used to, think they've taken all the fun crap out of them now.

Freaky, that sounds yum!

If you exfoliate, use some of that Summer skin type lotion and do some press-ups and sit-ups for a couple days you'll feel amazing.
(Says lardy wasting! )]

Glad you're feeling better Plum, pain is the worst.

No knitting, DS woke up as soon as I started.

OP posts:
FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/06/2010 18:35

TBH I think it is more self esteem related than actual mingingness (though I do have a flabby belly, cellulite and love handles)-last year I couldn't even put a cozzie on just in front of my family because I was too self conscious. That's why I'd planned the exercise to try and stop me feeling like that but I just haven't done it

Although I might find it easier without jessica rabbit my sister there this time, she always makes me feel like a flabby minger!

wastingaway · 03/06/2010 18:44

Aw, Freaky, that's a shame. But I've seen photos of you, so I know how gorgeous you are.
Pampering yourself is good for the self-esteem too.

OP posts:
minimammoth · 03/06/2010 19:02

Freaki that food sounds amazing. Hope you enjoyed it. Boo to Jessica Rabbit made me laugh though.
Still don't know how to look at the pics. Am no good at facebook, have got page though. Help!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/06/2010 19:16

Flattery will get you everywhere

Mini it was yum, dd refused the butternut and ds the beetroot but other than that all good!

To look at plums pics you need to click on her name and you should get a new window pop up. at the bottom of that you should be able to click on photos...

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/06/2010 19:18

(I also think some s e x would help me feel better about myself physically but there ain't much chance of that!)

Alicetheinvisible · 03/06/2010 19:26

Evening

Freak you are gorgeous and tiny, sounds like you just need to tone up (says the one who's thighs now rub together when she walks...)

Plum someone on another thread mentioned they had been on Tramadol and it completely suppressed her apetite - 2 birds with one stone?

Bit of a mad day. Friend came with her little dog, friend went up to the loo (just after she arrived) dog was sniffing about as they do, our cat shoots past, dog chases, they have huge scrap on DD's bed. Cat is traumatised with a fat leg and dog is covered in scratches. Our cat disappears, but luckily back again now. Good day otherwise

minimammoth · 03/06/2010 19:30

AHH. I see. lovely photos, lovely Plum. Thankyou for letting me see.
Freaki I obviously missed the fact that your food contained beetroot, otherwise known in our household as the devils testicles.

JustKeepSwimming · 03/06/2010 20:31

JKS - sympathies on the weeing, it's one of DS' favourite tricks. Such an upheaval to sort out, very annoying!
Bony people are not attractive, just thin. I'm sure you looked fab

Plum - low carbing is basically no bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, fruit, cake, biscuits, crisps. Although this evening I had 2 strawberries for pudding [exciting life emoticon]
