It just feels so wrong. It literally makes me feel funny when i see someone has put on the FB status "Kids are in bed, movie chosen, indian takeaway on its way" WTF but it is sunday FGS

Lol alice, it actually doesn't bother me at all what we eat on what day. In fact we rarely have our roast on a sunday, more likely to be a saturday or monday

Have stripped bed...now just need to put some covers back on it.

Freak we always have sunday dinner on a Monday

BUT NEVER Bolognese on a Sunday

Sunday used to always be our take away night

With DH's job we have to be flexible, but if we can't have roast on sunday, it tends to be either a saturday or a monday. Sometimes we will roast a chicken during the week and have with salad or something, but not a roast dinner.

I am starting to sound like Plum's FIL

I think the main reason we tend to have a roast on a sunday is that DH has the most time off that day, and i don't really do cooking!

We always go out for a pub lunch, courtesy of FIL, then back to theirs to watch football/ lounge in the garden. There was a place doing gorgeous carvery for a while and that felt like a proper Sunday dinner, but they've stopped doing food.
I had a steak and kidney pie today, but FIL had chicken and mushroom pasta. Pasta. I thought of you all.

Hope all the ill ones are feeling better soon. Freaky, sounds like you've been through some shamanic transformation! Hope you're fully recovered soon.

Freaky I'm glad you're feeling better, sounds like you've been really poorly!

On the subject of wrong dinners, we cooked a curry today, and made some onions bahjis (spelt wrong I know) to go with. Have just finished mine, yum. Does feel a bit odd, curry is a Saturday thing for us normally, but it's a Bank Holiday so technically Saturday today and Sunday tomorrow. I think we will have roast chicken tomorrow.

May I share, that I have lost 6.5lbs this week! Am so chuffed, lots still to go though!

although I quite often have a light one then a really heavy one the next month, and then this month I had that weird gush of blood a week before my period

(I am using the word weird a lot at the moment, must find a substitution)

Feel quite sprightly this morning, the spatone must be working.

We ended up having indian takeaway last night. Was very yummy, but felt a bit wrong

Pasta for pub lunch? Unless you are a child or a lady what lunches you need to go for deep fried, pastry covered or roast like dinner at a pub. It is like the law or something

DH is officially at work til lunchtime (and rest of the day for his own clients) so want to get a bit done this morning while he is out and then maybe do something this afternoon.

DS is making me laugh, dd has a clear plastic pencil case with a multi coloured circles design on it. DS just cannot comprehend that the circles are printed on the case and are not inside it, he keeps trying to get one out. I told him it's apattern but he said "It's NOT a pattern the bag is see through it doesn't have a pattern"

JKS a bit like this but mine is better

Hi everyone. Am appalled by random food selection, no wonder we have a sick society.
HMHB has whizzed off now but lovely to see them, DGD is still cute and cuddly, and DGS loved the frogs in the pond, aw!feel like a proper granny.

DH fretting over his invoices but they are now done.
Putting massses of washing in, washer limping along and still making horrible noises. I have to give it counselling every morning.
Matumble amused by the confusion re gro bags. got grobags, realised they need far more compost than I have actually bought.So still no tomatoes or babies planted!
Discovered Vine weevil in tub outside. EEK!!
spent hours yesterday doing archiological type soil analysys to find all the evil grubs and larvae. Horrible things UGH! I am a murderer of innocent insect things, feel bad,so much for my non killing pricipal.

Will have to donate to charity or other penance.
Can somebody forgive me please
