It seems it isn't af here after all Yesterday I put a pad on before we went out because I felt pmt ish and had period like pains then when we were on the bus I had a gush went to loo and checked and it was soaked so bought some tampons (mooncup was sat in bathroom at home ), there was blood on the tampon but I put my mooncup in when we got home and there has been nothing since So just random gush of blood??

House has slipped somewhat, walls etc covered in handprints, marks on the carpet, dust everywhere and a huuuuuge pile of ironing. Also 'stuff' seems to be breeding so it's probably time for a clearout. Need to get it sorted by thurs as am off to london on fri and then only have an hour and a half between getting back on sun and dd's party. But am lacking in motivation!

Freak I use a microfibre cloth and a basin of hot water with either flash clean & care or wood cleaner, but have neither of those left at the mo so just ordinary flash

I have down a pile of ironing and made no dent in the mountain so off to do more before 24

Please make sure I keep up with my lists this week as 1 half of my house looks realy well so just the other half to go!!

Freak - I don't use anything apart from a damp cloth to damp dust, microfibre cloths are amazing though, I am a recent convert to them and wouldn't use anything else now. All our woodwork is painted though so I'm not sure what I could use on it without it corroding the paint?

Ali, I can recommend a toy buggy as a v. popular birthday present.

I've not done bad, since we got in from PILs I did DS bath and bed, took airers back downstairs, folded some dry washing and sorted washing piles, took rubbish out and put bin round the front for binmen and ant powdered all round the outside back of the house.
And then I've been sat down for an hour.

Monday -

Wasting - have been meaning to answer your question about carpet cleaning for ages.
We have got a Bissell which we got 2nd hand from the manufacturer which we love. It's really good for doing whole areas and freshening the carpet up. It has got a 'spot tool' but I don't find it that good so I tend to use some of the solution for the machine made up with warm water but not diluted very much and an old toothbrush for the blobs of spaghetti bolognese and ground in Weetabix etc. I find that if I hoover, then use the toothbrush and blot it with an old towel and then hoover again about an hour later that does a very acceptable job.

DS got - a toy buggy, a paddling pool, DVDs and book, a sandpit, a Little Tikes car, activity books.

He loves his Fisherprice farm, smart trike and all cars and tractors.

I've got a small slide, which he never goes down properly and although a swing would be brill, he's not ready for a proper swing seat yet and it would be a waste to buy a 'nursery' swing set at this age though.

I'm going to get him his own gardening tools too I think with some oh his birthday money.
