Has taken me until now to get dc to sleep

DS would not stay in bed then picked up his pillow, put it at the foot end of the bed and said I want to sleep this way So I had to rearrange the duvet (have issues with duvets being on the wrong way!)and move all his teddies etc BUT he does now seem to have gone to sleep.

Mini that is funny, I almost did the same thing myself the other day!

JKS - sorry you're poorly again, sounds like a really odd illness.

I did nothing yesterday afternoon, and then stayed up far too late again! My mind is a bit in turmoil at the moment, the nearer my brother's wedding gets the more I find I'm thinking about it. DH is also still on the hunt for a new job and one of the possibilities is a secondment in Washington DC with his current company! It would be amazing, but if it can all be arranged then they will want us to go soon so it's a bit unsettling thinking that we could be living in another country in 3 months time.
I need to pull myself together and just focus on the day to day stuff.

Feeling rubbish today I have a cold and L was feeding most of the night.
Lots of rubbish family stuff going on too. My princess of a sister was adamant that she didn't want a party for her 30th she said she would walk out of any surprise party we planned so we all planned and paid for a night out instead.
Now 3 days yes 3 DAYS before her birthday she has thrown a massive tantrum and her husband is now trying to arrange a party.
So aswell as paying for a night out I now probably have to get new party clothes for the dc and pay some money towards Princess Tippytoes surprise party FFS.
Sorry for rant just need to offload.

I'm going to get dd1s show tickets today (remember last year my mum pulled out of going so she wouldn't upset my dad) well this year I told her just to get her own if she was going and she knows I'm buying MILs,she didn't sound upset but she hasn't rang in a couple of days but texted yesterday to see if she could call over today,
I don't know how long I can go on pretending I don't give a crap how she is treating me but when she is here I don't speak to her because I don't have anything to say its just awkward

Afternoon DS is being a nightmare today, he had a huuuuuge tantrum at lunchtime and wouldn't be put in his highchair. When I had eventually got him to eat, he then pulled an entire pack of wipes out one by one and put them in the bin while I was loading the dishwasher.
I know I'm not handling him very well at the moment, I can actually feel my depression creeping back a bit Must get more sleep and do more exercise to try and ward if off.

Plum at your Mum. Yes we would have the option to return. I don't think we are looking at it as permenant option, just something that would be a fantastic experience for a couple of years. We certainly wouldn't sell our house here, so provided DH had a job to come back to then we could come back whenever we liked.

Am amazed at how much stuff you girls get done what with the kids n'all. I am impressed. Today has been a list failure Have done nuffin. Well that's on list anyway. GOT to do some boning up on what the H* am supposed to be teaching next week.
