JKS poor you and DS. You know kids can change so quickly, plus, i think the hcp's take dads' more seriously tbh. Sad but true. You only ever hear about 'neurotic' mothers (hardly neurotic, just know their child) so if dad takes them in they reason they need to take it a bit more seriously iyswim? I really hope he is ok

Wasting hope today goes well. I'm sure DS will have a lovely time.

Got a free day today (hardly ever happens!) so going to try to get a bit of housework done.

Morning everyone! Feeling much better today, I went to bed at 9 and woke up at 8!

We are off to see our niece once we're all dressed. I'm hoping we can get home again in decent time because I'd like to get some of the ongoing jobs done.

Morning all will catch up later really need to get stuck in today but need to bring ds to gaelic dd1 to extra dance practise for show,
and AF is playing havic with my digestive system.

dh took me out to dinner last night and it was a diaster and silly us still paid and didn't make a fuss, long story short they served out dinner to the table next to us, then realised brought it into the the kitchen and brought it back to us but this all took about 5 mins so dinner was no longer hot and I'm convinced mine had salt & pepper put on it aaarrrrgggghhhh

Hi all, thanks very much, DS2 is fine (ish) now and home

They kept him in overnight as he just couldn't keep his oxygen levels up high enough to discharge him. DH stayed in and got basically no sleep, i went to bed about midnight, so we are both shattered and frazzled.
We are hopefully being referred to the asthma clinic in case it is that, and he's being given a maintenance inhaler to start once current batch of drugs are done - drug chart is chaos now!

God I really need to do something about my hormones. AF has come about 5/6 days early and this morning I was yelling at the dc over NOTHING then we've been out since 10 (town, birthday party and then on bikes down road) and when we came in I went really flat and started crying for no reason Don't really want to go on the pill again but I need to do something!

Freak i can totally sympathise. I have only been on my own with DD since yesterday morning, and i have already lost it with her. (i'm hormonal and she is tired and teething) It is hard work being with 2dc on your own the whole time, with or without hormones!

Think we are going to go to the horses now, and hopefully DD will fall asleep on the way as she is being horrid today tbh..

Can I just say aaarrrrgh! Thank goodness that's done with!

It went well actually, I was still making salad and icing cupcakes when people were arriving, with a towel still wrapped round my hair, but it was fine.

I'd failed to remember the non-cheese or dorito eating members of the family, so DH and SIL did a Morrisons dash for Pringles and ham during half-time, and DS and DN were fighting over the toy buggy, but everyone had fun and ate food.
And DS went to sleep really well, which was a relief as he's been a little bugger at bedtime all week.

DD is in bed snoring away! She has been manic, but i think it was tiredness tbh.

Just had a lovely bath and eaten a huge dinner, now wating BGT - perfect!

I hope everyone has a lovely stress free evening

Happy Birthday to DS1 JKS!

Wasting - too much cheese does funny things to my digestion. I had too much on my birthday and felt a bit strange the next day.

We are having sausage sandwiches for breakfast and then we'll make a plan for the day. It's raining here and there is a Grand Prix on later so I think we will mainly be inside!

I think I will leave it a few days before getting a pg test - would be very early days yet and I don't want to start stressing myself out!
