Hi Ladies
It was a real struggle going to work today - the first time in more than two weeks that I've been into the office in person rather than working from home. Great to see everyone though, just a long day. DH cooked spag bol for dinner which made up for it all and then DS had a very splashy giggley bath . Have since argued with DH about the huge bike that is blocking the hallway but that's another story .
DTG how are you going today? We'll keep things relatively 'normal' but quiet on here on Wednesday in the spirit of life is too short. We'll all be sending our thoughts and hugs.
Glad your roast went well Ellie, there's something very satisfying about pottering about making a roast on a Sunday. Your list was very impressive today, I hope you managed to do what you wanted to do (but there's always tomorrow if you didn't).
PA summer might be on its way but a BBQ isn't a very good indicator in this house - as long as the BBQ can be lit and kept alight it is considered 'the season'! I hope you managed to have the relaxing day you had planned.
Linzer sorry to hear you are having more winter! Your list is sounding very keen today, good for you.
MissB well done on you mission premonition! I hope you enjoyed your Clarins treatment, how lovely . As for ringbinders, we have a similar set up but more dividers (cat, insurance, pensions etc). Gosh, MrsD, you sound extremely organised with your filing system.
DEM now I am even more impressed! I have a few trays of rocket seedlings that look they're too crowded but I don't have enough pots to transfer them to!
Glad you had a good MN meet Chairmum sounds like you had a good day - isn't MN just great - where else would you just be able to meet up with a few people that you've never met before and gossip for hours!
Welcome back LPP - things are moving fast on here as always but just dive back in, you'll soon catch up (both in terms of babysteps and gossip)!
I'm going to bed in a minute, reading a great book sent to me by my SIL - look away if you are positively avoiding book recommendations - Eat, Pray, Love. I picked it up straight after reading Paul Coehlo's The Alchemist and the theme is similar so now I feel like somebody is trying to tell me something!
Night all, waves to everyone that I've not said a personal 'hello' to today.
