WME - you may have something there, he was very hot, i changed his pyjamas for lighter ones when he first woke at 10 and he was SO ok this morning that he doesn't seem ill.

• remember online delivery 10-12
• iron DONE & put away laundry
• make headway with friend's family tree
• ds2 drugs x 2 1done
• meals for 3 x 3 BreakfastDone
• tidy kitchen DONE
• find out when DH is coming home DONE (teatime hopefully)
• see if any friends free for afternoon
• tidy toys properly & see if any can be put away yet!
• renew library book DONE
• delimescale shower head Doing
• waste time watching music videos on YouTube Doing!

• rediscover favourites to save on new laptop DoneMore
• get to 8stone 7lbs (currently 8,9)
• contact handyman (sort list)
• get photos of family & hang them up

God this thread is a nightmare to catch up on if you miss a day!

PBM I think I'll keep it for now but not sure if it will last...it doesn't feel like "me" yet and when people call me SuperWasher (or SW) I haven't a clue who they mean!

DH has a dish type thing for all his bits but they usually end up covering the whole of the sideboard. We also have problems with batteries, nappy nippas, pens, screws etc-I do have a container for them all but it takes a while for them to make it there.

Trillian I'm the same re extra guests, especially if they come when I literally have one bendy carrot and a shrivelled mushroom in the fridge! But I always have wine so can at least offer that

Someone asked (sorry can't remember who) what was wrong with ds - nothing as far as I can tell. Think it must be the heat with him as well. We've put him to bed in a short sleeved romper and no covers for the past two nights and he has slept a bit better...You'd think a half african baby could handle a bit of heat dammit!

I have calmed down a bit from earlier

The heat is definitely an issue with the babies sleeping. DS slept in just a vest last night and was much better. Woke at midnight and again at 5am.

I also aspire to be able to rustle up extra meals from nowhere at the drop of a hat without swearing. I'm working on it.

Well, haven't really done anything this morning except go to stay and play. The suitcase is after lunch priority - i promise!

Chicken leftovers? I put all the leftover meat, some veg (sweetcorn works well)into a saucepan with a jug of gravy, cook til it thickens a bit and put in a dish with pastry on top - easy (only problem is there is never enough leftover )

Oh, and put it in the oven

Just been called to do another exam this afternoon so not likely to get much done, especially as I have done very little so far.

Random question Trillian but was wondering if you did sciency something at cambridge and if you did you may know a friend of mine who is doing a phd (i think) in sciency stuff at cambridge

I did a PhD in sciency something, yes. There are a lot of different departments but I might know him/her.

I went to find gardening tools and found things I didn't know I had, but no spade that I knew I had. No gardening today!
