MM Hope college goes well, if you see the bitch then you can know that the whole of MN has been sending her venemous thoughts. Its just my arm, well wrist really that needs resting. I'm not supposed to lift anything heavy - ie a child or bump double buggies up flights of stairs. However on the other hand have been told to make sure I do use it so it doesnt stiffen up.

List for this eve -

Clean kitchen
wash dishes
put shopping away
syringe feed rabbit again
paint finger nails
read childine folder for tomorrow
sort out my sock drawer - its a riot!
Dont eat any more biscuits...!

Glad you had a good time at the BBQ

alicecrail · 22/06/2009 09:04

I've still got some (was mean't to take them back but sometimes my leg would go very weak, and didn't feel brave enough let them go just yet)

giraffesCantRunA10k · 22/06/2009 09:53

haha MM I will rest my arm today from house work - got to take Bunny to vets this morning and then Im doing a childline shift this afternoon, and we have headsets so I dont even have to hold the phone!

giraffesCantRunA10k · 22/06/2009 09:54

Oh and suggestion for summery thread title - "The slatters have got their hats on hip hip hip hooray"

Morning all
NOW
tidy kitchen

sweep floor
tidy shoes and bags
put wash1 on
tidy lounge
wipe bathroom

claireybee · 22/06/2009 10:18

Girrafes . I suppose the only thing to do is to make sure that you get up and dressed and out in the morning then hopefully it will get your sleep pattern back on track.

Smallblessings I don't drink enough either and end up really thirsty right before I go to bed which then means I am up alternately weeing and drinking all night (doesn't help when ds' early morning waking for the day is now at a record 4.20am). Maybe we should remind each other or incorporate it into our lists somehow so after each other task we have a big flashing DRINK WATER.

I am seeing a downside to being (mostly)on top of the basic housework...I am now noticing other things that need to be done. For example yesterday I cleaned mirrors and the wall up the stairs ( and I may possibly have also wiped the skirting board up the stairs). Is this how people beome clean freaks?!

Today:
All up, dressed, breakfasted - DONE
Washing up - DONE
Wipe kitchen & dining table - DONE
Hoover downstairs - DONE
Lunch -
General tidy round -
Put away ironing -
Cook dinner -

Um...will think of some more later

claireybee · 22/06/2009 10:19

Obviously that was my zummerzet accent coming out there. I mean, of course, Giraffes

FAQinglovely · 22/06/2009 10:25

hello folks - remember me?? .

I'm back - and as this thread has nearly finished have taken the liberty of starting the new one ready here

Will post a list on there a little later.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 22/06/2009 10:33

Clairey - yes it is! I find this now too, I am so on top of the normal hoover/dust routine that other things stand out to me now. I regularly clean my skirting boards now when I hoover

I forget to drink enough water as well. I am so thirsty this morning.

Today
Up and dressed - done
Bins out - done
Put on a load of washing - done
Wiifit (have eaten far too much yummy food on holiday!!)
Breakfast x 2 - done
DS nap - doing
Shower and get dressed properly
Tidy kitchen - done

claireybee · 22/06/2009 10:35

Hmm I'm not sure about regularly cleaning skirting boards...

MuppetsMuggle · 22/06/2009 11:41

back from college - went okay.
The bitch - bitched about someone else instead of me for a change.
My tutor spoke to me about her, said at the end of the year I was blowing it abit out of proportion and yes maybe I was but its not the point. Also told she will get a severe warning on her record for stating what she did about the staff!

MuppetsMuggle · 22/06/2009 11:42

Clairy that your ontop of the basics

Plum How did the show go?

SB hope you and your family feel better soon

claireybee · 22/06/2009 11:47

Well, mostly. If I don't do it for a day or two I really notice it and it takes a lot of work to get back on track! But yeah, I do wash dishes, wipe kitchen, hoover downstairs etc as a matter of course now
