Hi everyone
Just nice to get other peoples view although, its hard because if I wrote everything down that I have let slide up until this point I would bore myself never mind anyone else

dh is outside working (and fumming)
I've cleaned bathroom
going to clean kitchen, brush and mop
going to ring my mum first

OP posts:
claireybee · 20/06/2009 15:10

DD doesn't like my bread she says it is too chewy.

Trillian good to see you, hope you have caught up now!

MM take it you aren't pregnant if you are doing all that wine drinking??

I had a bit of a premenstrual freak out at dh this morning because he got up with ds (after I'd got him up, bf him and had him climbing all over me for 2 hours)then went back to bed and left me with the dc. Normally I don't mind him going back to bed for a bit but this morning I was pissed off that it was the weekend yet I was doing exactly the same as I do every other day eg juggling kids and houswork Anyway I ranted and raved for a bit and then felt better but he is still sulking, whoops.

But I did get quite a bit done in the end so thought I should come and list it

Today:
All up, dressed, breakfasted - DONE
Washing up - DONE
Wipe kitchen & dining table - DONE
Load of washing in - DONE
Load of washing on line - DONE
Another load in - DONE
2nd load on line - DONE
Hoover downstairs - DONE
Lunch - DONE
General tidy round - DONE
Sort and put away baskets of clean clothes - DONE
Cook dinner -

TrillianAstra · 20/06/2009 15:30

I have a new item to add to my list:

discover that BBQ is in fact tomorrow not today

MuppetsMuggle · 20/06/2009 17:07

Clairy I got my blood test results back yesterday, and i'm not preggers just a slight hormone imbalance. So I drank a bottle of wine as due to the scare haven't drunk any alcohol for a couple of weeks!

Plum I read your thread and I hope you sort it out.

smallblessings · 20/06/2009 17:23

Plum

TrillianAstra · 20/06/2009 17:26

Muppets, wine is a good plan. But have you managed to have a chat with your DP about his reaction when you thought you were pregnant?

MuppetsMuggle · 20/06/2009 17:33

SB (((Hugs))) hope you feel better soon.

TA That is an ongoing discussion, he knows his reaction is wrong and that it takes 2 etc, he also knows i'm under alot of stress medically so need all his support. However, as I said still an ongoing discussion.

Whats your new temping job doing?

TrillianAstra · 20/06/2009 17:35

Job is same again next week but in a different estate agent - answering phone, putting stuff in database, etc. Will probably be very boring.

MuppetsMuggle · 20/06/2009 17:42

Ahh - very boring but can you MN at the same time

DP is currently cooking me dinner and i'm drinking a cool glass of Magners

TrillianAstra · 20/06/2009 17:43

Not sure if I can MN at the same time - if I can I'm sure you will all hear abotu it

MuppetsMuggle · 20/06/2009 17:46

LOL!

I have about 4 hrs of college this week, and then that's it till sept

How to fill my time, I have a list as long as my arm!

Ongoing List

Sort out bills and paperwork
save for a new dining table & chairs
save for new coffee table
save for wardrobe and chest drawers
Get my hair cut
catch up on my ironing
Make sure Darcie is prepared for "big" school

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 20/06/2009 19:51

Just got back from BBQ. We all had good time but my back is now killing me, so I am going to take up residence on the sofa for the foreseeable future.

Claireybee - I hate it when DH does that. He'll give DS breakfast then allow him to trample all over me in bed with no chance of a proper lie-in in sight! Man sulking is also the worst. I tend to just ignore it.

MM - glad you worked out what was going on re poss pregnancy. At least you can drink again !

Gestate 23 weeks doing (thanks TA )
Sort kitchen done
Empty dishy done x2
Reload dishy done
Put dishy on again
DS for nap done
Get stuff ready for BBQ (now at friends house) done
All to BBQ done - had good time but my back is now killing me, may take up residence on the sofa.

Maybe cook something

Thank you for all the hugs
Had another chat with my mum, she really dosen't get it she said what about going to Tuesday nights show instead, but its All Sold out, she dosen't realise that it is not the show I'm annoyed about,
she didn't go see the Xmas play and dd1 &ds were both in it and I didn't let that annoy me, (although ds was disappointed because it was his first school play),
she dosen't realise its the fact she said she dosen't want to leave him on Fathers Day! and then she did throw in a 'and your daddy's really sick', and tbh I don't know I feel about that because it is possible he could have prostate cancer BUT that is not the reason shes not being here for me, shes jsut getting angry because she thought that once I knew he was going for tests I would be over
And the thing I was so hurt by him she dosen't realise that I have already done alot of grieving(for want of a better word)

Oh I could go on about it all day but I wont use up our remaining posts, get thinking of a new title girls!

Well we spent yesterday making Fathers Day cards after dds wee friend went home, they are lovely
I printed a picture of each one of thedcs off with dh and they put them in
So now they can't wait for him to get up!

I'm going to look and see if I can make something nice for breakfast
potter about
sort uniforms
make dinner
get dd1s hair straightened and up in a bun
find her make up (blusher and abit of glitter)
drop dcs off to FIL & BIL and off to show

Hang up wet washing

cikecaka · 21/06/2009 10:41

Hugs to you PBM, when I read your thread I just wanted to throw my arms round you. Families can be a pita, I have often said that the only thing my mother showed me is how not to be a mother, I have tried with all my might to do the opposite to her, showered mine with love, hugs and kisses. I tell them often how much I love them because I think she told me once! . I have now come to the conclusion that once I can close my front door and that DH, myself and the DCS are ok, then everything is ok and nobody else matters!

cikecaka · 21/06/2009 10:52

TO DO
Tidy over after breakfast
Wash Breakfast Dishes STARTING
Tidy Sitting Room
Shower
Dress DD3
Put meat in oven for Dinner DONE
Prepare Spuds and Veg for Dinner
Go to mass(DD1 is singing at it)
Cook Dinner
Convince DCs to wash up after it

Thanks for all the good wishes. think when I got married 12 yrs ago I was convinced that I was going to be the perfect wife and housewife, how things have changed.

giraffesCantRunA10k · 21/06/2009 12:00

Oh fuck - how do you unpolish floors? In my crazed insomnia door polishing at 3am I wasn't very careful with the spray (I never even bought it, was left here by old tennant and I decided to try it...) anyway now the areas around the doors are all slippy like an ice rink...ooops! Have wiped it with a baby wipe...do you think thats enough? Am I going to have to mop them? I only mopped the floors yesterday

Shower and wash hair done
Put a wash on done
Breakfast done
Tidy up bedroom
Go food shopping
Clean washing away done
Hang up wet washing done
make up done
do hair done
bins out
recycling out
wriste shopping list

I have more time just now than ever since I am off with this arm but the temptation is to think "ah well Im not going anywhere can just stay in my jammies/shove hair back" Then I am not tired...so insomnia...and then I end up with complete sleep reversal like when I was a student.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 21/06/2009 12:30

Giraffes - you are being very thorough with your cleaning and getting loads of jobs done. I hope we aren't all going to have to start getting up in the night to get stuff done too . Can you just leave the floors and warn people?

Plum (((((hugs)))) My parents and siblings are PITAs so i can't really give any good advice - just hope you find some peace.

Alice Did you go to the BBQ?

Cikecaka Aww you sound like you are having a nice day. My mother never told me she loved me or hugged me I am like you - I shower my Dc with affection.
