Haven't got time to read or post list as have devil child friend's dd here but all my jobs have pretty much gone out the window now she is here anyway! I'll spend the evening clearing up all the stuff she has destroyed if the past few visits are anything to go by

I know i am sooo lucky re this trip. when my bro announced his engagement (they've both lived over there for a few years now) they were both keen to get married back here to make it easy for people. but luckily changed their minds! i mean not everybody gets a chance to get married somewhere like that do they?!
then i was going to go on my own due to ££ but then BA had a special offer on flights and we had some airmiles left from years ago (when we lived abroad) so we thought, hey let's both go! and PIL volunteered so there we are!
and the hotel is on special offer too, though we've had stress changing a few times as offers have got better, lol. my bro is an expert at money saving

Tues:

• ds2 nap *Doing
• ds1 watch 101 Dalmations Doing
• afternoon - friend + dds coming later
• tea x 3 (or more maybe?)
• boys bath & bed
• orchestra
• bed

Ongoing:

• rearrange appt for DS2 follow-up at local hosp DONE
• rediscover favourites to save on new laptop DoneMore
• get to 8stone 7lbs (currently 8,8)
• contact handyman (sort list)
• get photos of family & hang them up
• buy some cheap photo albums
• find correct sized refills for filofax pen EmailedFilofaxForHelp
• upload & order more photos of boys (DS1; 2.5-3 & DS2;1-1.5) (soon as code will run out!)
• get on with friend's family tree Restarted
• transfer all family tree stuff over to Mac software
• then go through 1911 census (again) for research
• cats to vets for annual jabs
• bag up lots of recycling from sorting paperwork at the weekend (& put out on Fri)

Have done second job app too (needs to be posted, how old-fashioned!) so it's a very good list. Add 'wait for DP to get home so we can go together' to the list though. He's usually back by now.

Hi Slatterns!! Hope everyone is ok, have skimmed through but not really read properly.

Not organised at all today, I've been out with a friend and DH has been made REDUNDANT!

He is expecting to hear back about a job tomorrow, he's down to the last two, and has another interview on Thursday, but still.

Will be back later with a list for tomorrow, got lots to do to get ready for going on holiday.

CWWM I checked out you new photos, lucky SIL is nearly about to pop or I would be very broody

SIL has had a show and have tightenings every 40 mins but it is her first and shes not due until 3th July, although she thinks shes leaking some water, hosp sadi she isn't

SmallBlessing hope your ok, You know I'm here for a chat if needs be,(we could start a slatterns chat thread, if we don't want to use all our posts here)
I had a brilliant mw when dd2 was born I think she could sense I was abit fragile and didn't sign me off for a couple of weeks,
she said her main concern was for mums, happy mum happy baby,
hv was lovely but even though I live out in the country my postcode is a city postcode and mw basically said they don't have resources to come all the way out to my house esp to a 3rd time mum
Although I don't think my situation with my dad helped me very much at the beginning, but when I think back I was very down and would have been quite happy to never leave my house ever again

Anyway I will have to post the same list tomorrow again, washing is up to date but came home after dancing had a lovely dinner then we went outside and played until bedtime!

dd2 kept tripping up so time to get measured again, she hates it she is quite precious about her shoes so even if her feet are hanging out she hates getting new ones!

I am a little bit cross today. Things seem to be going wrong!

Dh was supposed to have this afternoon off and we were going to be really good and sort out the under stairs cupboard. Now he cannot have the afternoon off.

DD had a leaky nappy this morning so have had to change sheets and blankets. She didn't et much breakfast either, so i think she may be a bit under the weather, so not going to stay and play.

I put some washing that i had done last night in the tumble dryer this morning, and after about 15mins i started to smell burning. Luckily nothing was damaged. Dh got the condenser unit out to clean, but i told him not to worry, he could do it later as he was running late. He was having none of it, so started to clean it all out, i go into the kitchen and he is spilling water all over the floor, so i tell him, but he can't hear, so i shout 'look what you're doing!' and then he gets upset that i shouted at him honestly!

Sorry for rant, thing are getting on top of me at the moment. I find it so stressful looking at a messy house all day and when i try to do something about it i end up wandering round the house with a pile of stuff that has nowhere for it to go, so end up with piles of stuff everywhere - AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

We went up the pub last night for quiz night, DD loved it, she even sang down the microphone as half time entertainment LOL.
(its our local).

My list will consist mainly of doing my assignment, and going into the school for the first transition hr for DD to go upto big school
