at baby-head-hitting-nose

CWWM sounds like a typical little-boy injury - I bet he's disappointed that he won't have a scar, although he might have a yucky-looking anil to scare girls with for a few weeks

Didn't apply for jobs yesterday but I did manage to sign up with another temping agency and contact one of the old ones to point out that I am still here if they have any work (apparently they don't have anything suitable).

Today's list:

make lunch for DP to be nice DONE
apply for stupid jobs
wonder where DP thinks I am going to put the stuff that's in the washing machine since I did 3 loads of washing yesterday and all the airers are full (I wash everything in the basket and today he magically finds a load mroe stuff)
phone doctors and book smear DONE
hoover
washing up etc
exercise of some kind?
pub for friend's viva

Comewhinewithme · 09/06/2009 10:17

TA He has already been scaring dd4 with it she is very squeamish so even the bandage makes her run away . Good luck with the job hunting today hopefully the new agency may be more helpful .

Waves to MM .

Just had to bath DD5 as she is very sicky today and had got it all in her hair she seems a bit unsettled too and wants to feed a lot . So I am still not dressed and dp is hanging out the washing I am beginning to forget what fresh air feels like .

Feed DD5 done
Put all her clean babygrows away
Bath dress me and dd's 4/5 DD4/5 dressed
Get in touch with sil about schooltrip
Do something with dd4
dinner
hoover upstairs
quick tidy round and make beds upstairs
strip our bed
Change bedding in moses basket
walk ????????

PlumBumMum · 09/06/2009 10:27

Children seem to feel the need to show affection by launching their rockhard heads straight for your face

CWWM don't know what I have done think I've pulled a muscle, I can feel something rubbing inside it, but its just at an awkward place on my right arm from my wrist, haven't went to docs, have appointment eith nurse tomorrow so will say to her

just realised I need to go copy a list!

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 09/06/2009 10:28

There's just something about how you say 'DD5' so casually that makes me do that sucky-in-breath thing that plumbers do if they think something is going to be a big/expensive job. To have a list and actually get things done. Wow...

Comewhinewithme · 09/06/2009 10:35

Sounds nasty Plum I have a torn muscle in my leg and it has a small lump in it doctor gave me some gel to rub in to it and it seems to be getting better .

TA lol ! When I had ds I made everything hardwork for myself now I just cut corners .

I was very proud of myself today when I managed to browse mumsnet ,eat a banana and feed dd at the same time !

PlumBumMum · 09/06/2009 10:49

Meptazinol (i think thats the name) Quite strong opiate based. Sure you know more than i do! They are for my leg that i broke 2yrs ago and has not really healed. If i do too much or the weather suddenly changes it just throbs and so i take a funny pill before bed. I got prescribed them because they were safe(ish) to take in pg and codine makes me sick

Comewhinewithme · 09/06/2009 11:55

Ok I give in am bathed and back in Pj's and eating galaxy . DP keeping dd4 busy .

CC how are you feeling today a bit calmer I hope .

Ah, so not anything good that we can get hold of, that's a shame!

MuppetsMuggle · 09/06/2009 12:22

Plum - I have to go for a blood test to check for HCG levels, as Doc suspects I am too. so we will see.
DP - I didn't tell him I went to docs yesterday, as at the moment there is nothing to tell.

wastingmyeducation · 09/06/2009 12:23

I'm ok, just have a bit of a headache, might have been more damage if he'd caught me at an angle, but it was straight on. Lots of injuries today!

Cwwm, making me feel bad, I'm not even dressed yet!
Was having a busy morning, but then DS fell asleep on me, and I've been sat down since 10.30. I will formulate a sleep plan today.

Dh has just set off, he won't be back til the early hours of Thursday, then he's off again on Friday morning for the weekend. I miss him, plus have more to do.

WME - I actually watched 29 dresses (was on sky and i was v tired) - it was nice. DH kept coming in and saying 'bet she ends up with that bloke' but that only enhances the experience as it stops him going on the X box .

Why is it that when a child headbutts you they don't ever get hurt but you do??? .

I've snook home from work for lunch and to do a couple of errands go on mumsnet.

Write / post birthday cards and posted! done
Emailed accountant done

Will have evening list for later.
