Here it is a new thread for June, and to motivate us for the Summer

TA - It is demoralising.

DH has been in a similar position, with redundancy looming he's been applying for new jobs and he applied for about 50/60 before he got any interviews. He suddenly had two come at once, one he is down to the last 2 (might hear soon - eek) and the other is this Thursday.

He wasn't hearing anything back on 90% of them either which was making him feel awful.

Chin up, you'll get there.

I have one of these in ds room I think its brilliant as you can put more on top, Have to buy the crates seperate but it was def worth it

I've done all my housework, and should be doing my assignment but feel pants, and am still waiting for my new mobile to be delivered, I bet they called when I was on school run this morning grrr.

Hope you are all ok. CWWM I know what you mean. I have been trying to keep on top of things more since DD3 - guess because if I let it slip too much it will ages before I can get on top of it again! I know that the general advice after you have a baby isto 'forget' the housework but I find that can get me down and I'm trying to ward off PND anyway!

Ali I love Cornwall DP used to live there when he was younger and we all used to go down for the summer .Hope the weather is good for you.

Smallblessings it is so true about housework I can't relax at all if it is building up around me . Hope you are feeling ok I have been feeling a bit low on and off but think it is just baby blues and hormones settling down .

MM, just logged on to see how things were.

Have had DH home all weekend so he was helping and I couldnt get near the computer.

I have just had the day from hell,Ds had 3 friends to sleepover,when DH and I went to bed the 4 of them went out on the trampoline and threw wet tissue, oranges, eggs and yoghurts over the back wall while bouncing on trampoline. Noticed the wet tissue when I got up and paid our window cleaner to clean it off, only for someone from a different house to call and say about all the other stuff. Needless to say I marched 3 of them round (4th one wasnt answering his phone) and made them clean up the mess. I have never been so mortified and hurt in all my life. Often wondered when I heard about car crashes involving young people, how their parents didnt know they were not in the house. Now I do! Apologies for the long rant but DH is not home and I am so upset

CC at your DS and his friends what did he have to say for himself?

well I have to go for HCG blood test first, before we think about next step. i never told DP I went to docs, i'm not going to tell him unless there is something to tell.

CC (((Hugs))) sounds like a nightmare you did the right thing making sure they cleaned it up themselves have you contacted the other boys parents and told them how awful there behaviour was ?

MM ((hugs)) for you too you sound like you could do with them .

DP has just taken DS to A&E after he came off his bike and almost ripped the nail from the nailbed .

Hmm, liking all your storage options. Unfortunately we have very little storage in our house and DH is threatening to build a shed for DS's toys which in my opinion would mean that we never see the toys again and have a sodding great shed in the garden.

I have been sending (big) toys we don't need to DS's nursery then he can still play with them if he wants and I could always ask for them back if really needed them (but never will obv).

Muppets hope you feel better soon and the doc's was OK.

I have been totally crap,
made appt at docs but think I'm going to have to go in the morn(open surgery) as my arm is really sore
and I did do all the dishes but now there are more
I need to do dh's VAT return
Finish Mays Invoices
and sort out a pile of paperwork but I am trying to avoid it all!
And the housework is all piling up

Didn't realise it was going to be so sunny I would have done lots of washing
dh has told me to look up dishwashers

Evening all only have one thing left on my list - get DD to bed, but she is playing quietly happily at the moment so will leave her.
Dh is on call again and has been called out to see a horse with a wound that fell in a ditch apparently
