didn't see a single bump of a slattersn thread in the 2 days I've lurked. So here we are - a brand new slatterns thread to take us over to the new year (where I think we can safely say that one of our NY Resolution won't be keeping teh house tidy at all times )

I can officialy say that:

Paper lists of things to do are SHIT. They don't work, they don't tell you how well you're doing when you update to say what you've done, they get lost under the stuff still to be sorted, and they don't give you other unrelated banter while you're having a rest from it all

So - with that in mind.

Tonight (and I use the word quite loosely as I've slept the last 2 nights so suspect there will be little sleep to be found tonight) I need to:

• Get my washing done
• Dry it
• Iron it all (it's taking over the dining room!)
• Tidy and hoover the lounge
• Clean kitchen worktops
• Empty kitchen bins
• Put dishwasher on

May add more stuff later as I realise it needs doing.

hehe - well I've wasted my entire afternoon trying to upload all my photos and videos from my Nokia so I can take it in to be fixed/replaced (it's been broken 2 months ) - first of all I spent 2 hours "backing up" the stuff only to discover that this hadn't actually copied the videos and photos onto my computer.......

So start again just before 3pm using a different piece of software and am now on 622 of 677............I'm hoping there aren't too many more videos as they're taking AGES to upload.....and I really do need ot get on and do stuff

I've had a not-very-productive day today, and had to go through a midwife appointment with a numb face which made me seem a bit drunk.

Then I had all kinds of useful things that i was meant to be doing, and I ended up helping my sister with her A-level work instead.

good morning everyone, eeek we all slept in, well more precisely I slept in so all of a dither (thankflly DS1 was already fully dressed, DS2 at least awake so enough time to through their clothes on, chuck a banana at each of them and shove them out of the door .

ok - I'm sitting around waiting for a (another) phone call and am going to view TWO houses this today

I have DONE bathroom since posting my list, now I have scrubed it very mucha and done skirting boards but if I clean everyhting else like this I'll not get much done - have I got a problem? Cleaning to excess when I do do it? some sort of Bi-polar cleaning disorder? is any one else like this.

DS still had no breakfast, just milk he doesnt want any, he following me around with one of his three toy hoovers 'henry' is in favour today.
