didn't see a single bump of a slattersn thread in the 2 days I've lurked. So here we are - a brand new slatterns thread to take us over to the new year (where I think we can safely say that one of our NY Resolution won't be keeping teh house tidy at all times )

I can officialy say that:

Paper lists of things to do are SHIT. They don't work, they don't tell you how well you're doing when you update to say what you've done, they get lost under the stuff still to be sorted, and they don't give you other unrelated banter while you're having a rest from it all

So - with that in mind.

Tonight (and I use the word quite loosely as I've slept the last 2 nights so suspect there will be little sleep to be found tonight) I need to:

• Get my washing done
• Dry it
• Iron it all (it's taking over the dining room!)
• Tidy and hoover the lounge
• Clean kitchen worktops
• Empty kitchen bins
• Put dishwasher on

May add more stuff later as I realise it needs doing.

Will sweep and mop floors tomorrow as i am off to bed now and the house is in a good enough standard for me. LOl. I also managed to have a long bath and hot drink, and have given DD her milk when she woke up. All sorted!

wow well done - I haven't done anything tonight - just sat on here and admired my lovely clean room around me

just having a coffee and fag then off to bed, but better put the dishwasher on before I go..........

oh they're wonderful, could have done with mine last year when I was low - it was my poor friends who were doing my washing up

Still it's DS1&2's joint job in the mornings now to empty it.............which means that I have to fill it and put it on before I go to bed

I had to be up early as I childmind 2 days a week and I have her back today. thought I would get loads done before she arrives but DD3 followed me downstairs, she is in foul humour as she was late in bed last night, I thought she would sleep until at least 10 but wasnt to be

had to get DS1 & 2 to school - we all slept eek (extremely unusual for DS1..........I'm guessing he had some rahter late nights at exH's grrr) until 8.28.

I'm all of a dither because I have no tobacco left, but can't go and get any until I've got DS3 changed (and myself of course) - but I can't get going in the morning without my coffee and fag ARGHHHH

Wow Hellogoodbye achieved so much last night. I enter hibernation point at around8.30. Its as much as I can do to get up and make a cup of tea.
