Decluttering Thread 13 - Hopefully Lucky For Some!

Good morning fellow sorters, chuckers & sellers! Starting a new thread as No 12 was almost full. This thread is one of my favourites & I find it hugely inspiring. I have a very long way to go as my house still resembles a jumble sale but I have got rid of a lot over the last few months plus made some money into the bargain. Last night I transferred several carrier bags of clothes that are on Vinted into a pink velvet storage chest that, ironically, hadn’t been assembled & was taking up space in DH’s office 🤣🤣🤣 It’s now in front of the storage cubes in the lounge & honestly, the pleasure I get from seeing it & the space created is immense.
I need a day to dedicate to Vinted as I have bags of clothes still to photograph & upload, some clothes to try on which may end up on there too & some TJC rings to photograph for selling. They were quite expensive but I rarely wore them & now they’re too big. I have a huge car bill to pay so the extra pennies will be great. Have a productive day all!

Resurfacing after a difficult fortnight. Lots of slow gentle tidying, judging things with a different perspective because I simply want my feet cleared and my eyes rested from bumping over messes.

Ready for bin - three ancient pillows.

Ordered two new pillows, so not particularly big step forward. But I want to have a few nicer things.

Sold a couple of bits on Vinted, including a set of Doddl toddler cutlery which now means my Vinted algorithm is showing me tons of baby toys and tiny kids clothes! I've also got a fiver's worth of stuff on Sell Your Books so I need to get them packed up and sent off.

DD2 has gone off on her school residential with strict instructions to chuck any socks and pants which get too wet or dirty as I've packed her all the old ones. Some new trainers coming in but replacing existing pairs so hopefully not actually increasing the overall pile.... Also new duvets and pillows for the girls but again replacing horrible old ones.

Some sort of soft toy cull has also taken place among the children and there is an abandoned pile of plushies in the corner of the bedroom - I will double check before recycling them 😬but fingers crossed they can go!
