Does anyone iron anymore?

I don't iron everything but I do iron DC uniform, anything baggy that has a crease, like shirts or baggy trousers etc...I have stopped ironing bedsheets as what's the point? Is this bad? I have heard people on morning shows discuss this in recent months, some saying they haven't ironed anything in years. What do you all do?

Despite wearing mostly natural fabrics, I barely iron these days. I am fortunate in having a good drying space and find if I hang stuff up to dry carefully it doesn't need it - and the heat of your body evens out the small creases if necessary.

Anything that requires ironing goes in the basket of doom and will get done when I next get the iron out for sewing. As I don't sew often this is how I find myself ironing that linen summer shirt in January.

Yes, if it needs it. I am also a 'smoother' when hanging clothing to dry, hanging shirts / dresses on hangers, so avoids heavy duty ironing, or the need for bedding to be ironed with a little effort upfront.

Hama beads. The only reason I have an iron.

This made me laugh. Those things are the bane of my life!

I iron bedsheets, shirts for school and most of my clothes in the summer time, handkerchiefs, napkins.
I love getting into a bed with ironed sheets. It always looks a bit rubbish I think when a nice home goes up for sale and the bed looks a bit of a mess in the pics. Easy to get round it with a nice bedspread and acres of cushions but I can't be bothered with all that.

I iron at least once a week. Mostly kids uniforms, DH’s shirts and a few smarter tops of mine. Oh, and tea towels - I know that’s a bit weird but they fit in the drawer better if they’ve been ironed before folding!

I never iron bed linen.

I iron my clothes, when DC was at home I ironed all his kit including his rugby kit. I don’t iron bedlinen and tea towels although I used to love DMIL’s pressed linen sheets. Her cleaners and carers still press her bedlinen.

Clothes yes although try to get out machine and on hangers. Bedding, nope. Got paint to watch dry😁

Thanks again everyone! So have decided bedsheets are a definite no no! Will stick to DC school shirts and shorts as they are always taking their jumpers off! I did make sure there was something worth watching on TV though when I was doing it. :))
