Hills - yes, normally on Boxing Day we have to pack up and head to DH's family 100 miles away by late morning, it's fine once we get there but a real drag having to pack and get the house straight etc. Obviously we won't be doing that this year, I am planning a lazy, lazy day.
Tada!
Wrapped presents, DCs have put them all out apart from stocking presents.
Made stuffing (packet mix)
Tracked Santa on NORAD website
Watched EU/Boris stuff
Delivered more cards / chatted with recipients on doorsteps
Got petrol
Delivered pressies to parents, half an hour in the garden but too cold for a longer stay
Cooked swede
Made pigs in blankets
Disposed of advent calendar debris
Thawed gravy
Sorted veg for tomorrow
Tried to fix garden fairylights (unsuccessful)
Made dough for cinnamon buns - just waiting for it to rise
Top tip (from another thread) - buy little stripey paper bags (from Amazon, other suppliers available) and use them for wrapping stocking fillers. No sellotape needed so they can be reused/recycled and takes no time at all to wrap everything.
Glad you found the dog owner Bower - they must have been worried
Spring - welcome to the thread
Sing - thank you so much for thread leading through this busy month
Zoo - sending hugs, naughty corner is available if you need it
Up - great news on the vaccine
Tinsel - love the snowy picture
Mc - I remember DS's first jabs too, aww. Now we are applying for his driving licence, where did all that time go. Well done on the jeans.
Woolly - fizz in the fridge is a very important tada!
Isaw - lovely photos!
Foxes - we are planning a new kitchen next year but hopefully no structural work needed.
That - well done on fridge tidiness
