Eh up fledglings! Hope everyone ok!
Shouldn't be on here, should be tidying boudoir, but I'm ruddy well going to take 5 mins to check in with you all, as this is the first time I have sat down today. I'm sorry I will miss lots of detail but will try to respond to scrollable ones.. .
Zoo Sorry you are feeling so tired. Funnily enough I didn't sleep until 5am (felt stressed with the house bursting at seams) couldn't relax somehow. We could have messaged each other at 3am
. You clean so much every day I am sure it can't be that bad for tutor and they will be focused on the work in hand anyway
Can you get your head down for an hour while tutor is with you? Or at least lie down and look at recipes or magazines or something relaxing ...
That's so great your ds will have a bolt hole at the wedding where you can both relax!! And fab that your dd2 had such a lovely trip to London. Your dd1 sounds so thoughtful and kind.
Expletive I couldn't agree more about being on top of laundry being the priority chore! Yes, it is lovely to come down to a clean kitchen sink in the morning but frankly if you don't have clean clothes to cover the bod and walk out of the door then nothin' ain't getting done!
That I hope your back and stomach ache has improved
Glad to hear your dd is feeling better today Willow and hope the Venn diagram got the point across and school will give your ds2 appropriate support
Would having a roast on Sunday and easy cold cuts with veg or salad on Monday work for you? We do that now and it does free up time on busy Monday evenings.
Don't answer this if you are not comfortable doing so but where are you again Hazel? Pool warmed by hot springs sounds wonderful!!
Wishing you the very best of luck with your appointment today Bower I hope it was less awful in reality than you anticipated [flower] Also hope you are not snowed in tonight!
Hope your dh is ok Lane and that your nausea doesn't return. Hope you can work out the dosage to optimum level.
We3kings that's awful about your wasted day and having to trudge about in the call - all for want of effective communication - and then to be asked to explain your absence. I hope someone has apologised to you!
Don't worry Toostressy Gosh I'm a one-woman-litter-trail of adulting fails dragging behind me ... .
Had better sign out. I hope you will forgive me a silent scream before I go. ... I still have editing to do and mentioned it to guests. So after a substantial lunch I took them to a gallery where we spent half an hour or so and then dropped them (with their agreement) in middle of town (outside really lovely very unique museum which they were interested in) with instructions (map, integrated pre-paid travel cards, a list of suggestions and Euros) and said "see you later" hoping that I would have a couple of quiet hours at home to get on with tasks necessary before our departure to wreck2 tomorrow.
Anyway, thought I had better get bread on way home but as it is Carnaval vac week, both first and second bakeries were shut, so had to drive to a third. Took me about 20 mins extra time to get home. By the time I got there, I'd just sat down for 5 mins for cup of tea and who was ringing at the door ... all the guests... who said they were cold and hungry [sigh]. Fair enough it is hailing outside but I had left them suggestions for several museums, shops and cinema/antique shop/chocolate factory visit. They had honestly been out for less than an hour
.
I have taken my revenge though because when they mentioned pancakes I pointed at my K-Mix and handed them the flour, eggs and milk from fridge and lemons from fruit bowl and said to help themselves...
Oh yes, have also done five loads of washing, some calandering (hot mangle), wrapped two presents, wrote two cards and delivered them, and emptied dw x 1 so far!
Mahoosive but slightly stressed waves to everyone else!
